What model battery?
Highly possible batteey. Our car needs a lot of juice to crank. 55D23L have higher amp during cold crank. If u put a smaller battery it wont be able to crank. When u says there is click sound.. Means ecu already allow the starter to work.. There is only two possiblity..
1. Battery not enough amp to crank due to smaller size battery
2. Engine siezed up already. (unlikely)

Thanks for the advise. Fault found & solved. It's my mistake for forgetting that the battery is wet cell so didn't top up battery water. bangwall.gif Battery model DIN55L. Nearby area don't have 55D23L so no choice to go for different model because in need urgently.

Guys, have a problem here, my car is showing ABS sensor light three weeks ago, then one or two days later, check engine light is shown.

Went to check at Proton service center, they did the check using the tools and it's showing ABS sensor error, asked to come back few days later after they get the spare part to replace and confirm.

So... few days later i went back, after replaced with spare part, all the warning lights gone, the mechanic there try to install my original ABS sensor back, there's no light also.

He recommend me to drive for a week first to see if the warning light "come back". So it went on for one or two weeks with no issue, until this morning, first with ABS warning light, then check engine light.

Back to square one again... want to ask if anyone here having this issue before? Inspira 2.0p year 2011 here. Want to ask for opinion before I buy the ABS sensor (which is not cheap, cost like early RM1k) for replacement...

Hi guys! So after driving a manual proton preve for close to 3 years already. I've finally decided to retire (for a while) from the manual life. Been looking at secondhand Inspira prices and its tempting me to no end haha.

Besides the price, the fact that is practically lancer with a Proton badge means that I'm getting superb value for my money should I purchase one.

My question to all the fellow owners here is, are there any important bits I should be on a look out for when buying a secondhand 2.0p Inspira? Any thoughts and comments on the matter will be much appreciated!

Very aware of the spare prices are similiar to that of a typical japanese brand 😅 But I guess that is a given as you move up to a more upmarket type of car 😬. More interested in knowing any quirks or common issues usually found on an Inspira that I should be aware of before I start surveying the available Inspira's on the market.

No doubt Proton's got its handling game on track. We used to have a Satria Neo that my father bought as a spare car to be used at home. Needless to say the car was more often than not getting whacked in the corners rather than going for errand runs by me and my father 😂

In my family at least, we used to own about 3 different Proton models. The first was the Perdana V6, Satria Neo and finally, my Preve. Not considering another Proton for now pasal nak try something new laaa 😂 (Inspira different story since it is a Lancer)

inspira not really good la....i dont consider it UP from Proton..

dashboard hard plastic, fuel consider high...parts expensive...only good thing is its cheap price...and mitsubishi engine + gearbox + sporty looks...

but performance is consider slow...
