It's not the rust problem... It's the 'nyek, nyek' after a cold start problem...

for mine is some metal grinding sound. noticeable especially on first few minutes of cold run every morning.

sometime can hear it on slow speed with quite surrounding and window down.

Looks like your brake pads are totally worn out and is in contact with the brake disc...

Correct... Basically the pads are worn out and the sound is from the contact between the pad base and disc... Do check the brake pads to confirm...

May I ask what is correct part number for rear brake pad for this car?
Is it 4605A265 or is it MZ690569 ?
I am aware that the Lancer has 2 different versions of rear brake pads.

Good evening all brother and sister.

I juz serviced my 2013 inspira 2.0 8 days ago with 5 litre of proton cvt oil. Car is cloaking at 60k km. Assuming last owner never change cvt oil and filters before.

I realised my car have whining sound when climbin up hill or when press the gas pedal for rough driving.

And
Now even without climbing hill also have that sound. Whinning sound around 2.5k rpm above. Sometimes it doesnt.

Question : is the proton oil dont suit my cvt gearbox? Since it mentioned j4 gear oil at gearbox deep stick

Question 2 : is there any solution?

Question 3 : is the cvt fluid 5 litre too much for drainage

Thank you.

Xixo bro, for the alternator belt do you recommend only changing the belt or you normally change the pulley skali.

My belt start to have crack on the pulley contacting surface, but changing the belt plus pulley (Japan parts) will cost RM 400 via taobao.. sad.gif

Don't spread wrong information. It is NOT normal.

Whining sound can be fixed by using Mitsubishi CVT oil and replacing the CVT filter - proton CVT oil is not suitable for inspira as it is made for other proton CVT models.
