I only wear my long compression pant after marathon n went to sleep...

Next day wake up with fresh legs

That's my experience.

Wow, anyone with similar experience? My FM vetaran friend tried to run this year's PBIM with long compression pant & he said it helped a lot.

I'm still not convinced mainly due to the price therefore any feedback is very much appreciated.

Finish my first FM. Totally mental and physical exhausted! Timing? Last 2 km kene potong dengan 6:30 hour pacer! Haha

Congratulations! Run again next year? biggrin.gif

Congrats. Well done!

I only managed to keep up with 6:00 hr pacer untill 22km then had to slow down as my right heel started acting up and mostly walk more than run after that. Just barely met the cutoff time at 6:45. Did worse than last year's.
*
The 6hr pacer cut me at around 32km & if my eyes were not playing trick, I think 1 of the 6hr pacer lagged quite a distance behind her partners. Not sure if she's not feeling well.

Y U NO Trust ur FM veteran friend but ask us here?

this is very subjective matter... what good for 1, dont mean good for rest.

ie my calf cant take calf guard compression but long compression pant is okay.

if price is issue, train harder, smarter, then no need wear compression.
wearing compression boost ur confidence, image, bla bla bla etc...

sekian my 2cents.

Sample size is too small if I ask him alone.

dear runners, i have problem with my foot which easily can have blister on the sole and toe.is it because of wrong type of shoes? I already scan my leg at shop before bought it and I already wore that shoes for several months. any comment from you guys? appreciate it

Same issue that I had last time. I tried this way to tie my shoelace & have been problem free since then. The point is to lock the shoe onto your heel.

PBIM result.
Nett time: 6:32:00
i should start do more strength training especially on the leg.
i do plank 2 times a day for 2 minutes each and i can say it really helps.
hopefully sub 6 SCKLM next year.  tongue.gif

*saw some people cheat take u turn. really piss me off!  vmad.gif

Was it a group of around 3 boys at the mid span of the bridge on the way back to island? If yes, then we're pretty close. smile.gif

Anyway, nothing you can do about them so just let it go. biggrin.gif

After all, marathon is a race against yourself. The medal & finisher T mean nothing if they don't come with your 42km's worth of sweat. smile.gif

what, this is knot for running shoes? shocking.gif

i did this for my badminton shoes and not to my running shoes  sweat.gif  doh.gif

I don't see why the same knot can't be used for other sports apart from running. Again, the point is to lock the shoe onto your heel.
