Have you checked out Garmin? TOPUP a little and get those forerunner series? They last forever. And then you can consider upgrading to better ones in the future.

I had my eye on FR255 as it has open water swim mode compared to 55/245. TOPUP alot bro hahaha.

Perhaps i should just save up and use phone as for now and just get FR255 instead of going for cheaper alternative that need upgrading so on.

I am participating in a 5K event for the first time.

What you wish you knew before your first 5K?

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give yourself then?  biggrin.gif

Consistency is key. Track progress to see improvement over time. Take the win day by day not what you expect at the end of the rainbow.
