QUOTE(axtray @ May 17 2022, 09:30 PM) So far so good. Got covid during 2nd week of fasting month. But on CAT1. After recovered, I ran as usual outdoor but not as hard. Wow that's good for you. I was CAT1 as well but still experiencing shortness of breath especially when walking for quite a bit of distance. The stairs kill me too.Now working back up to 13-14kmh on the treadmill. |

QUOTE(Vrese @ Aug 9 2022, 12:09 PM) Breathing difficulty when running, no. How old are you? Pushing your heart too far can be harmful. But i noticed my normal high heart rate is now lower. Pushing heart rate to 195 used to be easy, i could reach 219 heart rate before covid. Now, the highest i managed to reach is 185 only |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Oct 17 2022, 03:24 PM) testing in shop is just a while i guess vs wearing it for actual run which could be different story. my first pair was adidas and no issue too when i tried in store. problem surfaced after my first few runs. like biastee mentioned, wide foot plated running shoes could be more suitable if you have wide feet. |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Oct 17 2022, 04:55 PM) What did you do with your shoes? I’m not gonna just thrash it away and can’t possibly return. Hopefully the shoes will start to loose up a bit. And I’m going to try those bunion lacing and see if it helps. Good news is that now I can walk properly now but I can still feel the soreness at that area. Today is my rest day after two days of run. Tomorrow will go again, maybe lesser mileages. that's good. then maybe the shoes still too new for you. how many km do you usually run? i gave my shoes to my cousin. nike fits me better and am thinking to get hoka next. |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Oct 20 2022, 11:06 AM) Hey all, is it normal to become so hungry all the time after I started running??? Been running for a month, about 4 days per week. i think it's normal to feel hungry after running. maybe have a banana before your run and settle for salad after.I wanna lose weight and be toned ler. Not to be hungry all the time. Like usually I take toast for breakfast and it’s enough to last me the day, but within 3 hours, my tummy is making insane noises. i am hungry even before my evening run. sometimes i just go for heavy meal, at least i don't feel so guilty after running.
