 Pos Daftar / Registered Mail, how it works

1) Buy RM2.20 sticker for domestic

2) if after weight, pos office say is over the weight of 20gm, then i need to stick normal stamps is it? like the 60sens 40sens stamp.

3) after that stick it on the a4 envelope i prepare, need to write anything on sticker? i have yet to see the sticker before.

4) later i think need peel out the sticker label?

can someone experienced in this guide me abit.

Why not just do all of this when you go to the post office to weight the parcel? The staff does all for me for 3) and 4).

For number 2, yes, your parcel will have the normal stamps and the register post sticker.

Just use pos laju if not heavy. Fill in form that's it posmen will do everything for u.

Easy and cheap.

The registered mail sticker does not include any postage. The cost is just for the registered mail.
dosmestic is red in color. Blue for international
You take your letter to the post office tell them registered mail they will do everything. You just write the receipient name at the front and back.
The sticker has few separate parts, all parts must be attached to the envelope. Peel off from where you see the arrow on the top left hand corner. The thin strip that is on the left is your receipt together with the back piece
You paste the label on the front side of your envelope left side of the address

there are 2 type of registered post; red and yellow

someone already explained on red above, so i skip the explanation

with yellow, it come with postcard. recipient need to fill up the detail and it will be post back to sender.

should the recipient refuse to accept the letter. postman will write it there.
