For me I have been playing since the 17th and currently level 62 (about 4 bars to 63) and I have having a helluva lot of fun, other than the lag from 500 players running all over the Hellfire Peninsular killing everything that moves. Still, its not so bad for far east players like us due to the time difference if you play in the evenings.
Its like starting WOW as a new player again with so many things to do - new guests, gear, factions. I dropped all my unfinished pre-TBC quests to make room for the dozens of new quests. The new 5-man instances are very fun - a good group can finish them 1-1.5 hours which is very easy to slot into your playtime.
I'm glad i didnt grind for some of the pre-TBC gear which wil be outclassed by the new items for most people. Almost everyone of my guildmates has already dropped MC/BWL gear for greens and blues. If you (like me) arent loaded with Naxx epics you can expect to be making gear upgrades each time you run an instance. My warrior who started with a mix of PVP and MC/ZG epics has seen huge improvements in gear since starting TBC. I've already done two talent respecs and AP has zoomed from 950 to almost 1200.
Since everyone is running 5-mans there should be no surprise that tanks and healers are in strong demand. The minute i login as my warrior, I sometimes get two or three whispers asking if i'd like to tank HF: Ramparts or HF: Blood Furnace. Since I was a PVP-head for more than a year, I had to relearn tanking again but boy, I have never felt so appreciated
Yeah and i made a BE paladin - just like 1000 other players from my server
So short version is: Yes, i am enjoying TBC a lot - sorry for the long-winded diatribe
