Having 2 sims with XOX prepaid for nearly 6 months now. Excellent Lines & Data, no doubt.

But what had becomes my worries is their Customer Services side.

I'm logging a feedback/complains on unauthorized TAC Roaming reduction on since 13th June (11 days ago).
And, re-emailed them asking for an update on last Thursday...up till now, no email at all.

For me, this is a lauzy punya CS. Bikin malu.
Common, small matter also cannot update.

Just sharing my experience on XOX CS....

Wen u use your phone Overseas to Receive SMS (TAC) from Banks. (And, XOX Charged You for it).

BTW, I was ever been charged with spam Roaming SMS I received (which I did not subscribed to).
I managed to get the XOX CS to refund me.

So, better watch out when you guys using the sim card for any roaming services.

Has been a month since the last complain, and I found out that its really they charged the SMS Roaming on my Maybank TAC received - RM2 for 1 TAC (?!) wth.

its in my billing statement. Just it did not mentioning a Roaming SMS sent or Received.

1) so, i resent another email to XOX CS, and cc to Aduan CFM this time. because last time, when I cc to Aduan CFM, it was resolved. At least, daily can email to Aduan CFM until im not so free to do so.

2) i know its small amount to claim refund, to some. but, for me, its about the principle - IF I used, I would pay, BUT if i didnt, I wont....even 5 cents


I have no personal hatred against XOX, but sharing my own experience dealing with their CS.

Well, you know what, - after NOT replying me for two weeks,then this morning, i CC the email to Aduan CFM, got dingdong replies from them (like 4-5 emails), and I have pressurised them to committ to settle the case by this week. Lol.

I know how to do it in future liau

I wana get advise on using xox prepaid as my car gps tracker.

1) anyone have similar experience of using the same? I wana use xox probably due to its long 28 months validity. Save cost.

2) If yes,how about using the car gps tracker overseas? Like in Singapore for example. Is it possible??

This is True.
Before going into XOX, you have to know the Celcom's coverage in your area, or the areas you intended to use it.
As XOX is 'tumpang' Celcom's line., if you know what I mean.

For me, reason to have the XOX is I'm overseas....and use mainly in Sarawak (as Celcom has the best/most/widest coverage in this state IMHO).
The added bonus is their Data internet is above the standard in Sarawak, generally.

Well, this is purely personal views based on my own experiences.

Hi Got 2 questions.
Im sorry if it has been asked before.

A) Birthday Bonus.
I have 2 cards, one registered in Feb 2019 & another on April 2019.
My birthday is on May, [as for TnC - I must be active for 6 months period before I can get my Birthday Bonus.]
Means, I could only get it by May 2020 then.

-Let say, my birthday is on 1st May....when will the birthday bonus offers come to me?
-in what form? SMS? or in the APP?
-i ask because i never had one before, and need to know what to expect. yet im oversea most of the time so only on the line wen needed it.
-if SMS, then on my line when the times come. If it is app, then easy.

B) Happy Hour's Data.
-e.g. If there is Happy Hour Data Offer - 10GB+1GB, and I bought it.
-i know the 10GB goes into my SP, and the "+1GB" I must use up within 30 days(?)
-let say I do not need to use the 1GB first, Can I transfer it to my other sim (goes into its SP)?
-I just want to save up this +1GB given, as I really do not need it yet.
-basically saving the +1GB (which is no use to me yet if the timing is Not Right). so to to find solution for the additional given data rather than wasted/burned.

Thanks for the clarifications. Much appreciated.

All these, I tot all the Happy Hour "+" Data got TnC one.
for example 10GB+2GB, the 10GB will be going into SP, and the 2GB into activation/use straight away (within 30 days).

If all 12GB goes into SP, then good lah. None is wasted.

Wondering why they dun put 12GB straight away so wont confusing. Instead of putting 10GB+2GB which I tot got clause on the '+' Data.

Such as Birthday Bonus, put 15GB straight away mah....

Ya, has moved over to BlackXOXO App and it s much better than the normal app.
Very smooth, and simple.

I wonder buying reload via app using online banking (M2U) is bagus? Anybody ever?

Hi I wana ask about Buying Happy Hour via Black App.

Im a prepaid user, but when trying to buy the HH, it doesnt shows RM50 was charged on where?
I mean, the Mode of payment (via Airtime ka, online banking ka, etc?)
After I pressed "Buy", it just shown message 'we will process your order'........
No Options for me to choose the mode of Payment(like in the Normal XOX App).

mind to enlighten me?

Yes, kinda agreed with both of you. me like fair & open discussion.

sharing my own experience,
1) my Maybank TAC is even weirder this 2 weeks. Bear in mind I used it oversea. Upon request TAC, it took 8-10 minute to arrived, numerous time.
And you know m2u got this time-out wen ur webpage is not active (3 minutes?). So, the only way i overcame this is the make sure the page is still active before the TAC arrive LOL.
Troublesome.

2) im still puzzled why the un-consented charges of RM4 (or other amount) still happening.
It happen to me prior to this, so I just Disable the XOX sim card.......only until I use for TAC (1) above.
no choice.
Yes, i did get back the money after all, but after many emails, and weeks of waiting, then it was refunded.
So, i simply disable the sim card until i use it btw.
well, it just Lucky that XOX is my second line.

3) not all is bad, there is more pro than cons for XOX imho lah - such as coverage(celcom best in swak), cheap data, long life, etc.

4) i have 2 XOX lines now, so might hold MNP over the 3rd one. staying put Hotlink, i think. so can have the best of both side, or "Balance" lah.
kinda scare to put all in one basket atm.
