I experienced momentary loss of coverage (zero bar) on two occasions. Only realised when I tried to use data and web browser told me I was off line. A while later, the signal came back (almost full bar). Yes, there was zero signal.
Anyone experienced the same thing?

All in all, I am quite pleased with the coverage and speed of the network.

Can I check with you how to utilise the season pass voice 333 (for new subscriber)? Is it like SP data where you need to subscribe monthly for it to deduct from your SP balance, or the voice minutes is deducted as long as you make the phone call?

XOX Membership Club

HI senpais, I received my 2nd OneXOX SIM card for my second MNP line. This time, enclosed is the above mentioned card with a scratch and reveal code (which I did not receive together with my first SIM card pack). Can someone advise what is point no.4? For my first Onexox account, I got 500MB added to my FAT10 SP after topping up RM30.
Should I call up Onexox to ask to join the membership club?

Learned something unpleasant today. As a new user, I bought a FAT10 data SP and got my additional 10GB free (valid for 30days). I received the usual SMS notification but I did not read carefully.

Today, I read the SMS and to my dismay, found that by buying FAT10 SP, it will auto renew FAT10 one month later. This means, if I did not realise it, it will deduct 10GB from my SP next month and there goes my RM50. This is strange as to subscribe to Fat10 SP, I sent sms to 23388, which is a different number compared to when we want to subscribe to monthly data FAT10 which we send sms to 22111.

Called up Customer Service, and they cannot cancel the subscription at their end. Guided me on how to cancel auto subscription. The interesting part here is to cancel auto subscription, we need to first "subscribe from Season Pass", then select "more" before we can select "stop plan renewal".

New users may want to take note of this.

Yup, that was what I did as per guidance. What I am upset about is why a once-off purchase of data SP can become subscribing for monthly data package. To subscribe to monthly 10GB package, we are supposed to send DATA FAT10 to 22111, whereas to buy SP, we send SP FAT10 to 23388. Totally different message content and destination.
Like trying to catch people off guard.

Why should the onus fall on me to ask them to stop the auto renew when I did not subscribe the monthly data in the first place? I only bought Fat 10 SP, not subscribe to monthly Fat10. I feel like reporting to MCMC about this entrapment.

Tak boleh. Did not work when I sent to 23388. With such message, it was like telling me I wasn't auto subscribed to the monthly FAT 10 plan.

Check my past posts in this thread. I highlighted this issue because I read the SMS they sent me mentioning something about auto renewal. This was after I, like you, bought an SP 10GB package and not signing up any 10GB data package.
When we buy SP 10GB package, they give us additional 10GB free for one month. Don't be too happy because apparently it comes with auto renewal! There goes your 10GB SP if you do not cancel the "automatic" auto-renewal.

Not sure about latest, but for me once the subscribed data is finished, there is no more internet. Good thing is it does not auto go to pay as you use internet.

Anyone experienced what I did? Received sms about 10GB for RM50 today (today refers to date sms received). Reply Yes to subscribe (the usual step).

Did so and voila, I got the voice package for RM30 instead.

Received this today. Didn't subscribe to such shit. Called XOX, CSO said will cancel and "try" to get the refund for me. I told him if I don't get the refund I will complain to MCMC. Wasting my time and now I have to monitor my balance carefully for the refund and future hidden deductions.

You are spot on. My FIL in kampung had been paying RM4 per month (or was it per fortnight) for some jokes thingy on another prepaid network. We only found out during CNY visit. He didn't know what to do, so had been paying the money for a few months. I called them up and threatened to report to MCMC. Got the refund.

my XOX prepaid line is expiring in April. I'm thinking of topping up RM30.

Q1:Do I get 30 days validity extension from April if I top up at
a) XOX portal, or
b) via dealers at Shopee?

Q2) Is XOX self-care portal down? I can't login via desktop or when using XOX Black app.

Questionsabout eSIM for XOX prepaid, really appreciate some advice.

after converting to eSIM, can the existing physical SIM card still be used along side the eSIM either in 2nd phone or as spare card in case the phone with eSIM is KO?

Dear all, if my prepaid line expiry date is 24/4/23, will I still be able to call out or top up on 24/4 up to 11.59pm? Or must top up latest by 23/4?
