Hi, I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but based on my search i think it hasn't.

So I recently acquired a UMobile number around mid Septmember, but decided to change to another celcom-based telco since the reception here is Pekan Pahang is pitiful indoors. I did not reload more than rm30 so the line is not active and currently is in its grace period.

1. So do I need to reload again to my umobile number before proceeding with MNP to XOX (i.e. line is active and can make calls)?

2. If the MNP is unsuccessful, let say I am unaware there is minimum period of 1 month or so that I have to stick with UMobile, will my MNP fee be forfeited and I need to pay again for the next attempt?

If you already bought season pass for voice, you dont need to do anything and can straightly use it until the minute finished or your line validity expired.

1. Yes. Line must be active for prepaid and the registered name is belong to you.

2. Actually there is no MNP fee. Is just the price of the sim card = RM10. If the sim card is still available and not being used yet, you can request MNP again if the previous request is unsuccessful. I suggest you subscribe with dealer to make the process easier.

Another quick question. Is the Sim card price strictly rm10 or at the discretion of the local dealer? Because I once requested to replace two of my SIM (phone was missing) and she charged me rm15 each and refused to give me a receipt. That happened last year.

Every ONEXOX prepaid starter pack and MNP pack have a printed RRP (Recommended Retail Price) of RM10.00 inclusive of 6.0% gst. The SRP (sim replacement pack) does not have a printed RRP *but* dealers are still required to follow company stated price of RM10.00 (including gst). AFAIK, majority of onexox dealers follows and adheres to this standard price.

All prospective customers are strongly advised to reconsider their purchases when encountered with an unethical dealer.
