yeah should be. i checked the 5g map i'm right smack center of a 5g area. i'll do more testing.
i noticed 1 mistake i did. In battery i had the 5g disabled. So i disabled that then test again.
But this setting should only be active only when battery saving is enabled which is
1. during night when asleep
2. when battery falls to below 30%
so that is why i don't think the 5g disable was active when i was testing. but to be safe i disabled that feature
But yeah i can confirm the phone does have 5g. Because where u select the connection, the auto it shows 5g, so that is confirmation the phone supports it. I also received the sms they activated 5g for the line. They even help me reset it a few times.
I think the last thing to check if to roam about and see whether the line does detect a tower that shoots out 5g.
Anyway did any1 see the june happy hour?
20gb highspeed data, 100 minute call to all network and 7 days viu premium? rm30 is this worth it?
Have to spend rm30 anyway to meet the rm30 every 120 days

How do you guys keep track of this?
before end of April, before end of August, before end of December ? correct? is there any sort of sms code for checking what is the deadline

i called customer service, i was asking about the 120 days have to top up rm30. They said no need because i paid for the rm25 validity so i don't have to worry about this.
So i guess, no problem?
I will just keep an eye in case line no longer working then see whats up then. But basically i already top up 2 years in advance because i i don't like to keep track of these things

yeah when you call their custom service, they said new policy since march 2024 or something. so i asked them about it, they say my account no problem no need top up every 120 days 30 ringgit since they said it goes by the validity which i already paid so i don't have to worry.
but if suddenly got issue, they can't just simply just change like this.... have to give us some notice up front

will have to see. because i already asked them about this new term of condition change, they said it doesn't affect me so...
i missed this. so basically even though what the customer support says is everything is honkey dorry, even that might not be the case based on what some of the users are saying. i will do what is suggested and keep screenshot as proof

well from what i saw there was an option within blackxox app to top up validity for 1 year for rm25. if you want longer just stack, i did this before it worked. but with the current situation i cannot imagine anyone dare keep validity more than 1 year just in case rug pulled under them

Yeah.......just to be safe,keep the sms received showing success purchase 1 year validity for proof but this sms didn't show any phone number
So my suggestion is to take screenshot of the *150*1# showing details the prepaid phone number,credit balance,season pass balance & expiry date for extra proof.
Something like attached photo of this prepaid user who have long...long..... very long validity.
