the problem is that there are ppl and green market located in public area at klia2, which is open to anyone, whether traveling or not....and people make use of it as free meals...

if it is restricted to just actual passengers (departing or arriving with a valid boarding pass), it will cut off a lot of usage...

PP is a card, PPL is a lounge

recently went into ppl (2 adults + 2 kids).
i used my own 3 cards + my wife 1 card.
3 of the cards are from same bank.
fingers crossed that they are no charges.

I thought it paid by banks for our visits, so banks will evaluate if you already exceed or whether eligible or not, then consolidate again in your statement.

It will not show on the slip. I don't know if the staff is hardworking enough to check for you on the excess number of entries.

But it has barcode which they will scan. At least PPL has started doing it, not sure about GM, if they just wanna see or scan.

Nope. I was asked on Monday when I was at PPL KLIA, the staff had to scan into their computer.
Overseas PPLs also have this feature and as a reminder for your boarding time in case you miss it, if I'm not mistaken. However, I don't know if ours has this feature activated or just for recording purpose.

So don't try to be funny and use an invalid boarding pass. You will be embarrassed.

This is what one guy did at Changi..stayed at the terminal for a number of days or was it weeks?
He photochopped his boarding pass to get in on out of different lounges while there.
One of the staff at lounges reported him and he made the news.

GM klia2 food has deteriorated compared to last year. I ended up wasting a lot of food so stopped going there.

I like Wellness Spa (near Mac D and Sama Sama) because of the canned drinks, small pastries and clean toilets (very important criteria when travelling with young children). It's also nice having the departures board there, so won't miss flight.

wait! me and my wife DID missed flight before coz PPL! twice! hahaha

1st time is flight to medan via MAS, 2010. i bought next flight using MAS wap website.
luckily that time MAS wap is cheaper than counter / desktop website. dunno why

another 1 is flight to miri via AA, 2011. just cancel the trip, go back to car and go back to home
total damaged for this is less than RM35 for 2 person. that time purchased ticket RM0.02 plus airport tax RM6 only

additional note: those time access PPL using alliance debit card platinum. what a memory!
