Forgot it is 2 or 3 years old will be charged already. So if you want to sign in your kid, you will need another principal card.
*
Per PPL website: For Lounge Use Package, 30% discount is applied on children age 2-11.

However, they always ignore my daughter (2.5 years old) when I go with my husband. I always bring my 4 principal cards with lounge access just in case, but they never ask me to sign her in.

I tried this twice, once last year August and once this year May.

Last year ok no issue, this year the counter person say cannot, same name card only can use once.

I flying again next week, anyone tried successfully recently?
*
I tried successfully in July and August 2016 at KLIA PPL. Both times I brought in 3 guests (so 4 cards in total, including myself) using the following principals:

1. Citibank Premiermiles
2. Ambank WMC
3. New Aeon Gold
4. PBB WMC

No issue at all. Just had to show 4 cards and sign 4 slips. For AEON, just filled in an extra form.

Malaysia PPLs are less lenient but by right that's not allowed. tongue.gif

Will keep on doing this until they stop me smile.gif. I asked the counter upfront - I hold 4 cards, can I bring in 4 guests under me? They said no problem.

For my family members, they all have supplementary cards for Citibank Premier Miles and Ambank WMC any way, so that's fine. But when I go on business trips, I feel really bad if I leave my staff outside the lounge.

Maybe because yours is 4 different banks. Mine is 2 cards under same bank

Citibank PM and Citibank Plat

I have tried PBB WMC and PBB VS at PPL as well as Greenmarket KLIA2, and that worked as well.

Aww. Then why that day the counter staff stop me sad.gif
*
Not sure. Some people are just MEAN! mad.gif

On a related note, 4 of my family members went to Shanghai (via Hong Kong) in September 2016 and used the HK PPL.

3 of them hold 1 Citibank supp + 1 Ambank WMC supp (under my principal). However, my 17 year old brother doesn't have any supplementary cards so my sister used her extra supplementary card to get him in without any issue.

So it appears its not just Malaysia that allows this practice of 1 person with 2 cards inviting a guest. I haven't tried in other overseas countries yet, but I'll report here in the future.

Just back from GM KLIA2, smaller portion now but good for one man size, last time used to be sharing.

Coffee only limited to americano.

Signature rotisserie chicken was removed, not in a la carte menu as well, replaced with hainanese chicken rice.

Asked for boarding pass, but not compulsory to show.
*
Thanks for updating. Yeh, previous portions were massive. The first time I went there, I thought the salad was the main meal! Will check it out this coming Friday with my AMBank WMC.

So don't try to be funny and use an invalid boarding pass. You will be embarrassed. laugh.gif

Hahaha. These posts made me laugh. rclxms.gif

I'll be going to GM tomorrow and will update whether they ask for my boarding passes or not, and what the do with them. Normally I don't pay attention to what they do, as they always ask me to take a seat first while they process my card.

Just went to Green Market with ambank WMC principal and supp.

They asked for boarding pass and scanned it in, and matched it to our credit cards. Previously I'm sure they didn't do this when I took a flight last month (that time I was picking my maid up from airport and didn't have boarding pass).

Salad (no photo) + Bento Box + Black Coffee or Tea

Another flight, this time we stopped at Wellness Spa next to Mac D.

Also scanned boarding passes. 2.5 year old daughter went in free.

Is 100 plus drink available ?? smile.gif

Will get in tonight too
*
No 100 plus. Coke, coke light, sprite, mineral water, carlsberg and another canned drink.

Tried the pesto pasta and it was horrible. But cakes were OK, and the place was relaxing and clean. Love the toilets haha.

no, there is no automatic eligibility....you have to check with the card issuer exactly what their lounge portfolio is...

food wise, i suppose gm being a proper restaurant and with ala carte menu provides the best food....however i didn't find the gm klia particularly good....but gm changi was actually excellent...
*
GM klia2 food has deteriorated compared to last year. I ended up wasting a lot of food so stopped going there.

I like Wellness Spa (near Mac D and Sama Sama) because of the canned drinks, small pastries and clean toilets (very important criteria when travelling with young children). It's also nice having the departures board there, so won't miss flight.

Also, by having 2 cards i can bring one more person on right?

depend on the card eligble to access the lounges and also whether the person on duty there allow u to do so only.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 4 2016, 11:49 AM)
Should be OK for Malaysia PPL. I asked last week when I was in KLIA PPL, the guy said it is fine so long cardholders are present at the same time.
*
I've always been allowed to sign people in... Even with 5 principal cards in Malaysia. There's no black and white allowing you to, so they can technically stop you from doing so, but current practice allows it. It doesn't matter to the PPL operator anyway.

Yes. Some banks extend their PPL access to their supplementary card holders too. I know AmBank is one of them and with separate quota.
*
PBB and Citibank Premiermiles also extend to supp holders, but PBB has shared quota of only 3 or 5 times depending which card you hold.

Okay will do. The menu looks good in green market.
*
In my opinion, the food standard has deteriorated and portions are smaller than when it was first launched. I no longer enjoy eating there. Drinks are limited to black coffee or green tea (last time could order latte etc). However, still OK considering its free.

QUOTE(sugen @ Jan 10 2017, 01:28 PM)
i hold Citibank Premier Miles CC and one sub card for my wife. Wondering, is it good enough to bring along 2 kids with these 2 Cards to enter PPL?
*
How old are your kids? Babies and (small sized) toddlers can usually just follow parents in (normally the staff don't even ask). However, bigger kids will need a separate card for access, unless staff are feeling very lenient.

Hong Kong allowed me in September 2016. Haven't tried other places.
