Does Aerotel PPL require boarding pass usually? I was asked to show my boarding pass when I wanted to enter last week
*
Just ask politely if you can enter without boarding pass. I manage to enter using IC the other day

Standard Chartered Priority VI also have some sort of RM 80 cash back for airport car ride and KLIA Express etc. But i have never used that so may be someone can advise me how that works.
*
I have the WM and you need to swipe 3x overseas any amount to be entitled to the cashback. The cashback is capped at RM80 per month, only one swipe per month (meaning the first swipe) is entitled to the cashback. Cashback will usually be credited in the following month

So I suppose you have to use your SCB to pay for the airport ride and inform SCB?
*
You need to use your SCB card to pay for the ticket. Best if you pay over the counter. It will be automatically tracked, don’t need to inform scb

Eh!!!

Does it means if i go KLIA, i cannot enter PPL using Worldmiles?

Can I enter PPL using my Maybank Visa Infinite or Amex Reserve? Any terms?
*
Why cannot enter PPL in KLIA using WorldMiles? You can go through the T&C again.

I think TS is trying to refer to the free ride home.

The food in Changi tgm is definitely better than in klia2.... although tgm klia2 food is better than any ppl....the ppl Aerotel I must say is disappointing....

The best ppl in Msia foodwise is probably the pen one....with a wide range of ala cart menu....

The worst is wellness spa in klia2....
*
Aerotel PPL dinner menu is quite good tbh. I been last week and they were serving satay and chicken chop.

Appears not evenly consistent in menu throughout the day....
*
Yes they will switch to dinner menu at 6pm. I entered around 5pm and stayed around for dinner haha

The worst in KLIA2 will be nearby Gate L Plaza Premium Lounge (if I recall correctly), never go back again even my gate there

Will still process to Wellness spa and walk long way back to there for boarding
*
I agree with this. The PPL at Gate L is so cramped there is no 'premium' feeling to it. Not to mention the food is crap too.

However I usually just go in for some drink as I am too lazy to walk to Wellness Spa.

Thanks for the info given.

In Changi, I went in to the T2 TGM twice. Once get the Japanese set meal for dinner and another time for the Japanese breakfast.

Both of high quality!

Better than taking the food in PPL.  thumbup.gif
*
Yes I have been to Changi T2 TGM a couple of times too and I have to say their food is comparable to the Japanese food in the mall. Quite good biggrin.gif

*
Not worth it to pay for PPL access. The food there is not worth the money imo

I wonder if PPL in Malaysian airports are strict? For e.g, I have few different cards with PPL access. Can I swap 2 of my cards in order to bring my friend in together as well?

Heard ppl talked about doing this before but I have yet to try this
*
Yes you can. I have done it before countless times.

Most of the time at klia I will just grab a coffee and spend time at Starbucks...the atmosphere much more relax..

What you pay is what you get. Since ppl access is free there is nothing to complain about.

At klia2, I try to use sc worldmile to enter the PPL aerotel. I show him the domestic boarding pass. He refuse to accept it. It mention only the international boarding pass can use the worldmile sc card. Anyone face this issue?

How about the green market ? Thanz
*
Cardholders are required to present their Principal WorldMiles Card and a valid international boarding pass for verification purposes. For admission, the service providers’ frontline staff in the Lounge will swipe the WorldMiles Card on an E-slip terminal and the Eligible Cardholder is required to sign on the E-slip. A copy of the E-slip will be retained by the service providers and the client copy of the E-slip will be given to the Eligible Cardholder.

If you are the tnc above, it is indeed international boarding pass only.

Their breakfast is surprisingly okay. I always order their omelette. It is made to order so it tastes really good.

The food quality in Flight Club has dropped IMO based on my last visit last month, I would rather go to PPL tbh.
