QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Sep 17 2016, 06:09 PM) Thats what I call maximising your PPL access. This guy is a champion. SINGAPORE, Sept 17: A jobless Malaysian man was handed a two-week jail term after he pleaded guilty to three out of 31 charges of forging mobile boarding passes to enter various lounges at Changi Airport.
The Straits Times reported today that Raejali Buntut who overslept at a Changi Airport lounge and missed his AirAsia flight back to Kuala Lumpur had decided to stay in the departure transit area on Aug 21.
For almost three weeks – 18 days until last Wednesday – he remained in transit by using 31 forged mobile boarding passes to enter various lounges in the airport’s terminals, said the report.
The report said a district court heard Friday that Raejali, 33, had checked in at close to midnight and went to the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1 (T1), using his boarding pass and his Priority Pass issued by Citibank. The court was not told why Raejali, a former business development manager with Royale Consultant Management in Singapore, wanted to stay at the airport.
The report said since his boarding pass was no longer valid, he decided to forge boarding passes by downloading images of mobile boarding passes issued by two airlines – Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines – from the Internet, and used an image editing software on his laptop to alter them.
Raejali inserted his name, a false flight number and a false destination on the fake mobile boarding passes, before sending them to his phone.
The report said he had gone into the Plaza Premium Lounge, the Sats Premier Lounge and the Dnata Lounge at T1 before going to the Ambassador Transit Lounge at T3.
Last Tuesday, the report said, a staff member at the Dnata Lounge called police when she suspected Raejali’s misdeeds as he attempted to enter the same lounge for the fourth time.
It was reported that Raejali’s sentence was backdated to the date of his remand last Friday and he could have been jailed for four years and fined per charge. — BernamaSourceHe is not tom hanks like in the terminal?....lol

It appears to only earn points with visits to the ppl itself.... doesn't include the others in their stable...so if you are forced to flight club, you get no points...?
Redeem a free entry with 2000 points, or 20 entries....

for some reasons, although all these lounges/spa/food outlets are under the same establishment, not all CC will allow access to all....
while all cc which have access to ppl, will include in their list ALL the ppl in malaysia, not all will provide access to gm or overseas ppl....
maybank vi has access to gm, and most overseas ppl except bne....
rhb only to local ppl, not gm or overseas....(but rhb spore does!!)...
the best card is ambank wm/vi/vs...which covers ALL ppl group outlets locally and overseas....(except syd)...

gateway: public area, small, but an extension area they can open if crowd gets too big, no view....
ppl L pier: small, no shower, airside, no view...
wellness spa: small, half the space used as massage areas, rather hot and stuffy aircon at midday, airside....rather basic food...not a single massage customer when i was there, so wasted spaces....
The space next door is the former malindo lounge....hopefully if the business flourish they will take over that space as ppl and leave ws as....well....spa

QUOTE(keeystar @ Sep 23 2016, 08:55 AM) Meaning principle can enters 2 times, supp enters 2 time right? Normal platinum. Thats what i got from their T&C. I thought there's latest changes the current promotion allow supps to enter as well with their own entitlements.... but not sure how the original conditions are....if they continue the promotion as standard, I am tempted to apply and take the 3 free supps too....lol

never stayed overnight at any ppl....but have stayed more than 3 hrs.....don't think they can keep track of how long people have been in....nobody bothers....
however, i have stayed at the now defunct skyview lounge in t1 changi overnight....had supper (satay etc for a cx flight) and shower....and they were very nice, advised me to go into the upper area where they switched off the lights, and i put the sofa cushions on the floor to make a bed....slept for 4 hrs....
another overnight transit at changi next month....still debating whether to just use ppl, or get a proper transit hotel room...

i must say wellness spa at klia2 is also pretty basic in terms of food...
seriously, these lounges are asking for >rm80 to above a hundred for paid entry.....i would never pay that kind of money for the service and food provided....wonder how much they are charging the banks for the "free" entrys by cardholders....

While I generally agree with the general sentiments here, I must say sometimes nowadays, the quality of food is more important than just stuffing the stomach...and I would willingly pay money for quality food, even though I can get free food at the lounges... but I would still avail of the free entries for the sofa and showers....lol

Gm klia2 is billed as ppl....
And you get food sold at about rm20+....
For cards with limited entries, may be better to prioritise ppl entry and pay for the food...lol

iianm, all other ppl elsewhere are located airside....so all customers are travellers...so it is not really necessarily to check the boarding pass....ppl klia did not in the past when i went...
gateway and gm in klia2 are the only ones i know located landside...which enable non travellers to use as well...and i have questioned the policy and potential abuse of previleges before...expecially those with unlimited entry cards...
so i suppose this is a welcome development...so some control can be enforced, and hopefully the banks will not withdraw the benefits...

QUOTE(Reapies @ Oct 17 2016, 11:32 AM) Green Market @ KLIA2's got a new menu, but their portion has become much smaller for free meals with credit cards -- smaller bowls, and the chicken salad has more than halved in terms of serving. Service is still very good though. So from rm20 value to 10?
