aerotel ppl is new, and afaik, not included in any bank's list as yet....

not in list of maybank, ambank and rhb as yet....but they may do it like tgm....register based on entering ppl gateway.... just as they allow rhb card to eat at tgm although it's not listed in rhb's list....the receipt states ppl gateway....

bed is not free. I remember asking and it was like some RM80+ for a couple of hours. Best to call PPL and ask for the latest rate.

Yea aeon can enter the new aerotel lounge. But I'm at the old one at gateway. The lady said facilities all the same except they don't have shower facilities.

Ambank Visa and Ambank MC. Even if you have these 2 cards, only 1 can be used at any one time per day.

Ambank Signature card. There is no need to spend RM 500.

The best card would be the one that gives you a separate Priority Pass card or associated/linked to Loungekey. That gives you access to about 1000 lounges worldwide.

Loungekey membership allows you access to 600+ lounges worldwide...
A few credit card do offer such membership with a few complementary visits...

Yes that is the best PPL among KLIA and KLIA2. The fact that it is located outside the departure gate makes it even better.

from some replies looks like the PPL near Aerotel is before the "immigration passport gate" ?

if really before the "immigration passport gate", how the staff know we are going for international flight? we need to present our boarding pass?

if no need show boarding pass, then next time I go fetch someone return from oversea, I can go for free makan?

theoretically not allowed, technically may be yes, but due to too many abuses, a lot CC has removed those landside PPL

PPL don't care, they want crowd and income.
That's why more and more CC remove access to landside lounge as this is not their intention for their given benefits.
When we are flying (especially overseas), generally we need to use CC for flight and hotel.
So they want us to use the lounge only when we are flying, not going there for free food, especially those cards with unlimited entry.

cc issuing banks are not charity. for reasons, airport lounge access privilege is getting stringent every year.

Airport lounges are meant for air travellers...and they are not an issue if in the airside....

However, some airports have them in the landside, usually due to lack of space in the secured area (like klia2)....but some are arrival lounges...eg HK and LHR....

In Msia, these landside lounges are abused by non travellers....hence increasing restrictions by banks....

It was especially not viable for ambank which previously allowed unlimited entries without conditions...I said many times such abuses will impact on genuine travellers....and indeed, they have removed the landside lounges and gone further to remove all the other airports....

Have anyone used their Maybank M2P cards principle to bring a guest to the Premium Plaza without having to pay? Will the staff swipe 2 times without having to pay?

I understand that Principle can access for free but not the guest. Just wondering if anyone had entered with a guest and asked to sign 2 times.

RHB supplementary also entitle free access, but for KLIA only, 5 times per card per year.

Separate with principle, if you sup Premier VI, VS, then he/she will entitled 10X & 5X access.

Can I use my husband's aeon big visa to get entry to ppl? He won't be tagging along though.. he ask me to use it on the next biz trip..
