Any idea if I can go to PPL in changi during my arrivals to sg?

Many terms changes, to clarify:

1. Ambank WMC/VI to spend RM1000 30 days before/after for 2 access?

2. Ambank any access to Langkawi PPL? Saw PBB got.

3. If I have both WMC a& VI under my name, can I bring spouse?

Ambank doesn't cover US

Best bet is card that come with priority pass, citibank prestige?

Prestige never waive annual fee, even for first year. But what do i know? Even Premier Miles they do waive now but Prestige is another level.

For HK, JFK (New York), LA airports, which are the cards that allow free access to the lounge there ? I have AmBank VI, WMC, CIMB VI, but I doubt they cover any of these airports.

Appreciate any inputs, so maybe can rush to get other cards !

And in the list of lounges covered, ppl gateway and tgm gone....they have added Rome but not Melbourne....

all airside lounges still accessible....

airports generally are divided into 2 broad areas...land side which means areas open to everybody...check in, arrival wait etc....

airside refers to the secured areas where ONLY travellers can access....so generally means after security/immigrations....if you do NOT have a boarding pass, you cannot enter....and also, all staffs working in the airside needs passes and security checks....

technically, airside in international terminals also means OUTSIDE the country, as you have cleared immigration....

ppl has several lounges in klia2....at the landside, they have ppl gateway, and also manage tgm....and the newly opened aerotel and aerotel ppl....

at the ariside, they have ppl at l gates, wellness spa, and also manage the bar....

obviously for airside lounges, ONLY travellers can use....but the landside facilities, they do NOT insist you must be travelling to use...so many people just go use/eat....

if a card has restrictions, like 5 times annually, then it's ok, people will likely reserve use to when they actually travel....

ambank has no restrictions on how many times you use...

the main problem with both klia and klia2 is that, there is NO lounge available at the domestic airside...no space available...

AmBank cards no longer allow KLIA2 landslide cards regardless it's with Signature or just normal commercial cards.

Nope the ambank signature card does not allow free entry for land side any longer. Sad but true.

The effect of the ambank decision is basically they close access to lounges on domestic travels....so you only have access on international flights....

The removal of kk and pen is puzzling....there are international lounges there too... should at least maintain that....

Definitely no problem to use one card each within a day (for yourself).
Ie. Day trip, morning use VI, evening return use WMC.
You need to spend RM500 with VI and another RM500 with WMC.

Scenario 2, you bring a friend with you.
You can use VI for yourself, and WMC for your friend.
But because both are from Ambank, with same enter time, sometimes PPL don't allow this (but I tried twice so far ok).

Only Ambank Priority banking (VI/WMC) no need spending and with unlimited access.
Ambank VS is required to spend RM500, please check the T&C again.

Nowadays, not many card has Priority Pass and Loungekey anymore.
Airport lounges are overcrowded.

When I first using Ambank VI, I can actually have unlimited entry per day.
Initially the clause was 3x overseas swipes, then changed into spending RM500 / entry.
Got once, I enter 3 times a day, while transiting in Sg.
From Penang PPL, then Changi TGM, and followed by Changi PPL.

Somewhere last year, Ambank amended the clause and limit to 1 use per day.
End up I applied for RHB WMC for local use.

For priority banking, I believe it is also once per day, better confirm from their T&C.
Since they removed Penang, Kuching, KK, and limited to 5x entry per year, there is not much usage for this card anymore.
Redemption points for air miles also increase from 5000 to 7000 (40% increase).
It was one of the top 3 CC for this segment.
Now, the only use for me is for my parents to enter PPL while travel overseas (using my sub card).

Yes, the ambank priority banking cards are now only for overseas travels, especially for supplementary cards....and with the devaluation of points, I stop using it....better with Maybank premier cards....

One point is still not clear....it's one entry per cardholder, or per card....if you have both the vi and wmc, can make 2 entries?

Sorry I misinterpreted your "Signature" previously, i thought it was Visa Signature, not aware that Ambank Signature = Priority banking.
Based on the T&C, I can say that it is a grey area whether can use both VI and WMC on the same day.
Perhaps you should email Ambank for clarification.
It is a proof if they still charging you.

to me is 1 entry per day, refers to one card.
so 2 cards can enter twice a day.

I have used both Am Sig WMC and AmPriority VI  on same day, no charge so far

Can i get into plaza premium lounge at klia2 with citibank rewards visa signature? The t&c only mention kuala lumpur International airport

Nop . Citibank cards only can access KLIA lounge.

Not sure supplementary card holder is allowed for Citi Rewards, I think it wasn't stated in their T&C.
