Arrival also can go to PPL, so yes.

QUOTE(limeuu @ Sep 2 2016, 02:47 PM)
Problem will be your check in luggage....as the ppl lounge is in the airside...

Penang Airport, if you arrive from international flight, there is no way you can go to PPL. If you arrive from domestic flight, then you can go to PPL.

Just curious, how to check many free PPL entry left on my MBB VI?

Will PPL counter tell me whether that entry is chargeable or free?

Nope, travellers will need to track themselves. Probably you can check with Maybank CS.
PPL staff will just swipe like normal and if it exceeds the limit, then bank will charge you.

Keep track yourself....you can call SC to check...but they don't always get it right....

When maybank downgraded their perks earlier this year, I had used entry twice, but using a supplementary card...which should not count into the principal quota...they tell me I have used twice.... but I had to explain it was with the supp card....only when they checked the details then they agreed I still have the full 5 entry quota this year....

Called CS. The lady said they themselves need to submit the enquiry to PPL to check - which will take few working days.

Other wise, when I travel, can approach PPL to check, they'll have every travellers entry data

Someone from LYN mentioned before, you could hop on a train and get to KLIA2 and have you lunch/dinner in Green Market which is located at the land side. Please correct if i'm wrong as i haven't done that before.

in the end, i didn't check in any luggage. hand carry all the way.

however, when i tried to enter FC, the staff ask me for boarding pass.

i produced my boarding pass from the overseas airport. they scan it, and let me in.

anyone ever experience this? the PPL staff will scan your boarding pass??

All my entry either they scan or verbally ask for the flight number. That's their SOP

Why?

So far I have not been asked to produce a boarding pass. I thought they will just have a look, didn't know they even scan now. I will check it out in my next visit. biggrin.gif

the PPL in malaysia really depend on the staff..
if oversea, the PPL will ask for boarding, so they can scan and include your flight information in their system.
it will show on their lcd tv and sometimes do make announcement if flight delay..

ppl klia have never asked for boarding pass so far....

ppl changi will ask for pass, and scan it....

pp entry all over the world always ask for boarding pass and passport...

so i think it varies depending on the airports and respective ppl policy....

I have a question: If I arrived at KLIA2 around midnight but my flight (international) is only at 8am, am I allowed to enter into the departure area (after immigration)? How do I check in my luggage? If I'm not mistaken, check in counter usually only open 3hrs before flight, does this mean I have to wait until at least 5am only I can enter?

Yes, once you go in, you cannot come out anymore. So, you have to check in your luggage only can go in. By the way, that PPL only opens from 4.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m.

However, there is another PPL before immigration which opens 24H. You can go to that one.

Credit card only gives 3H per stay but usually they won't chase people away. Moreover, there is not much can be done. I got bored after an hour. laugh.gif
