For KLIA2 domestic departures to KK, looking at those TNCs of the cards that I have, only following bank card entitle:
Maybank MU VI - only gateway Level 2M allow domestic departures for complimentary access. TGM need to have international departure boarding pass. Come back from KK allow domestic pass.
RHB Premier VI - only gateway Level 2M allow domestic departures for complimentary access. TGM need to have international departure boarding pass. KK also only allow international departure. BTW, what is "Paid Lounge" and "The Bar" in KLIA2 as stated in the TNC?
PBB VS - so far the best card that can cover domestic departure for gateway Level 2M, aerotel, TGM and KK's domestic.
Ambank Signature WMC - rubbish card for domestic departure. non covered.
SCB World Miles - rubbish card for domestic departure. non covered.
Aeon Big - the 2nd best card that can cover domestic departure for gateway Level 2M, TGM and KK's domestic.
any wrong info above and/or any better card that you can recommend for my trip to KK during late March?
subsequently have upcoming flights to Singapore, Penang, China Guilin and come back from China Nanning.

QUOTE(limeuu @ Mar 4 2019, 04:16 PM) Not clear if you are quoting from experience, or assumption from guidelines.,. Maybank cards have not placed any restrictions on type of travel, so I presume the old arrangement still stands, eligible for entry to gateway, aerotel, and tgm on domestic travels.... Rhb cards, the new guidelines indicates international departure except for gateway, which is silent....so anyone travelling domestic, give it a try and tell us ... Ambank cards revised guidelines last year was very clear.... purely an international travel card now..... QUOTE(charlesj @ Mar 4 2019, 04:23 PM) Agree, no indication from Maybank, it should be usable for all lounges listed in the website (including domestic departure). RHB, quite useless for now, going to cancel one of it (WMC & VS, still good for Msia lounge when flying overseas). Will keep Maybank solely for overseas use. https://www.maybank2u.com.my/iwov-resources...-local_list.pdf

QUOTE(christcwl9 @ Mar 6 2019, 12:16 PM) Not sure about VI and WMC, but RHB Premier VI allows 10x free entry for Principle and 10x free entry for Supplementary card holder. For PBB, i am sure that principle and supplementary shares the same amount of free entry allowed (2x free entry for PBB VS for Main and Supplementary card) the RHB Premier Principle and Supp card share the 10x quota. not each has 10x entry. QUOTE(Nerdyfred @ Mar 6 2019, 01:35 PM) Quite confusing. In short, PPL still accept different bank card if you wanna bring in a companion with you? Any forumer can verify this? yes

QUOTE(christcwl9 @ Mar 6 2019, 02:57 PM) Hey bro, are you sure?? I was told by my relationship manager that principle and supplementary both have 10x entry ?? And to update, CIMB Preferred VI also have separate Principal and Supplementary complimentary entry (Each having 4x free access). This is true as at 31 Dec 2018, and so far i also didnt receive any change of terms and conditions from CIMB QUOTE(limeuu @ Mar 6 2019, 03:26 PM) If I understand RHB's program correctly, the entitlement is individual, not shared.... hmm... maybe i remember wrongly. Good now each has 10x entries.

I don't know how you can consider it as abuse if they need valid boarding pass to access, be it domestic or international, you still need to purchase flight ticket to use the complementary access.

QUOTE(limeuu @ Mar 7 2019, 05:08 PM) The lounges were allowing cardholders not travelling to enter, using the IC as identification.... By cutting off domestic travel eligibility, the banks forces the lounges to confirm international travel, which automatically means that need to verify destination by insisting on boarding pass.... why need to cut off domestic travel eligibility? domestic travel also got boarding pass. just insist on boarding pass that's all. bank thought domestic air ticket is free?

QUOTE(limeuu @ Mar 10 2019, 08:36 PM) They generally do....just that the new rules by ambank and rhb states "international departure".....so no domestic departure.....and maybe no international arrivals....lol ambank and rhb doesn't allow aerotel access... be it international or domestic...
