Just received email from AmBank on change of PPL access T & C. Same as what has been discussed.

Glad that I have the AmBank Signature and can forget about the RM500 spend requirement.

But Citigold really need to upgrade their PPL access for the complimentary Visa Rewards card !

Citibank no PPL access outside of M'sia ? For my Citigold Visa Rewards cannot even access Penang PPL. Only KLIA PPL !

AmBank VI charging RM688.

For me never pay for yearly charge for years other than the RM50 charges which was cancelled about 2 years ago. Have been limiting my free cards to 2 other than adding 2 more free cards for PPL access.

OIC, u mean all AmBank cards or just the VI ?

The first statement I received for the VI showed RM688, then a waiver for the RM688. But it did say free for life.

Is the free for life applied to their PB AmSignature or normal VI card as well ? I was told no conditions attached like have to use minimum times/amount per year.

Other than AmBank Signature VI card which still free for ppl.

From what AmBank sent out few days ago, Penang PPL still included:

AmBank Signature (for their Priority Banking customer) Visa Infinite should be unlimited without need to spend RM500.

TS added in already. Kudos to TS for maintaining the lists !

Thanks for the confirmation on the query I had few weeks back. So per card can only access one PPL per day even for the Priority VI.

In Sept I used CIMB VI for Penang PPL and then used AmBank VI for S'pore PPL.

Maybe should go and get AmBank WMC as well.

The S'pore Green Market is in which terminal ? In Sept I went to the PPL I think is in Terminal 1.

I took the long walk that time in T2. I was told only PPL in T1. The tourist guide did not talk about Green Market. So long walk to take the shuttle to T1 !



I only has minimal cards, mainly used free Citigold Visa Rewards Signature card. Then added the CIMB Preferred VI and AMBank Priority VI as hearing about the PPL access. CB Visa Signature can only access KLIA PPL, not even Penang one !

Comparing the Priority banking customers of few banks, Citigold gave Reward cards that can access KLIA PPL vs AmBank and CIMB where there are soo many that we can get into.

Worst still, Citibank PB limit has been raised twice to now 400k vs 200k of AmBank.

After hearing all these, today applied for the AmBank Signature WMC.

But when was the AmSignature VI/WMC came out ? I thought u should have been their PB customer long ago ?

For me just applied their VI card just 2/3 mths ago.

For AmBank Signature (Priority) VI, no need the RM500 swipe requirement.

Maybank has 3 levels:

Aspire (50k AUM), Premier Wealth (250k AUM), Private Banking (by invitation).

Probably u are only aware of Private Banking !

I remember when I was in Changi PPL 2 mths ago, they print out a slip and I sign on the slip ony. No PIN required.
