nice season finale... thumbup.gif
gotta rewatch all whole season again to catch the little details after you knew what's going on, it's another experience

So, did the host really gain consciousness? or it's just really scripted codes that makes them think they have gain consciousness?

Everything was scripted, Ford has scripted the whole play for 30 years, including the MiB and the board and the rest of the staffs
Live Maive, she think she's gain control, yet it was scripted all along!
And Dolores, it could the same as well
Resurrection of Bernard was under his control as well, hence he wasn't surprised when Bernard show up again.

And lastly, I think that wasn't the real Ford giving the final speech, don't think he'll take the easy way out like his old friend Arnold, remember he was building another host in his secret lab? We never saw who is that host.
My theory is he is creating himself, to put up a final show for the board to see, thinking he's dead, but he's still hiding in the secret lab orchestrating the new "play"

Next season, oriental park? SW = Shogun World?
hmm.gif

S1 about Control
S2 will be about Chaos

I think William/MiB should survive the massacre, and try to contain the hosts that ran amok in his park

and those old hosts in the cold storage, wonder where they went?
are they turned into the savages at the massacre? hmm.gif

aren't the attackers that emerged from the woods at the end the hosts from the cold storage? At least that's my assumption. It could be just the native tribe host from previous episodes but its too many of them to just be those tribal hosts

Yep. Even Clementine v1 is there, she was the one who shot Man in Black.

Didn't see clearly it was Clementine V1 shooting, kinda dark and I was very sleepy at that time tongue.gif

almost forgot about this pic, the man in the middle, they said he should be Ford's father, maybe it's a gift created by Arnold to Ford
Ford doesn't seem so happy about it, why would you create someone you don't like, especially your drunken father? hmm.gif

or he's a real human in that pic, but a mentor to both Ford & Arnold?
somehow he's related to the whole plot

my theory for the 35 years of error correction:

put it this way, just treat the host like human being, upon creation Age 0, even with all the Arnold's AI codes, they are still codes, scripts to tell them what to do, just 1s & 0s, black & white. They are just infant

But with Ford's effort, the host are able to "learn" and "experience" something that's wasn't part of their scripts, just like us human being grew more matured with experience throughout the years.
But because most of them are put into the endless loops, hence it took them 35 years to accumulate "experience" to become aware. No more 1s & 0s, and no longer just black & white, but many shades of grey in between, just like us, grown adults.

Season 2

Wild wild west returning in 2018
yup, MiB is back rclxm9.gif
doesn't seems to have the rumored "Eastworld" theme park
it seems Dolores is leading a pack of rouge hosts ramparting throughout the park killing the newcomers, and Bernard is helping to contain the threat

finally got time to finish off S2 after holding it for so long

Have to rewatch S1 again before starting S2, since forgot so many things already
It's another kind of new experience when rewatching S1 when you know who is who already thumbup.gif

Major mindfucked in S2, hardly got enough processing power to process what's going on in the last few episodes of S2, poor Bernard, got his mind fcked twice in both season laugh.gif

Season 3 is confirmed, but probably we will only see it in 2020

As GOT drawing to a close, they strategically drop season 3 trailer.

me old man eyes, is that Dolores at the end? hmm.gif

didn't see any returning cast from previous season
But it's great Aaron Paul is in this new season
but I'm having doubts about the future world settings hmm.gif
So is Aaron a host in a new theme park, Future world?
or it's set in a real world outside of the theme park? since the park is basically "destroyed" by the host in S2

IMO, S2 concluded nicely
they could have just leave it there
just hope they don't wreck it

GoT replacement? laugh.gif no way
GoT's plot is more straight forward, Westworld's plot is on another level
tried to introduce it to few of me friends, most say they couldn't understand much and it's confusing for them laugh.gif
most just watch it for the naked scenes laugh.gif

Totally forgot there's season 4...lol...

yeah, I've totally forgotten about it too

mostly thanks to a confusing forgettable mediocre S3

lets hope S4 is as good as S1 and S2
