There is a big difference between us and them.

While they have a glorious pre-Islamic history (the great Persian empire) - Malaysia doesn't have a strong pre-Islamic history or any cultural competitiveness with Arab.

Most Malaysians deem Arab as superior in fact while Persian have superiority complex over Arabs and see Islam as a tool to subjugate them to Arab rule.

The next 50 years will be interesting for Iran when the current young generation start ruling - there will be a big change.
