I have a feeling the newer ones are going to be terribly overpriced. The Macbook air 13 might be pushed as a cheaper mac and the pro is going to sit at the very top.
Price wise, they will all be aligned properly.
11" air < 12" macbook < 13" air < 13" pro (maybe) < 15" pro
the 13 pro mght be close to 6k

Just wait for it.
For lightweight and portable take the macbook 12"
For upgradable in the future, macbook pro retina

For me, weight is the no.1 concern so macbook fits the bill.

I'm an MBP user and if you can wait, just hold on for a month and get the new one in September... And since switching from Windows (a user for over 10 years) to Mac OS back in 2011, I've not regretted it! thumbup.gif

Seeing that WWDC 2016 wasn't the eventful, there's high expectations that this fall is gonna be a busy time for Apple as they will unveil new products to update their current lineups. This includes the MacBook Pro.

If you are not in a hurry, wait till it comes. Otherwise, get one now biggrin.gif

It depends on what are you doing with the Mac. Gaming?Graphic intensive work?If you're just a casual user(surfing internet, some word processing, watching videos, listening music, etc.) looking to try out a Mac, go take advantage of the 10%. Try out MacBook Pro line but don't get the 13" year 2012 one though(the one using regular HD).
