the most enjoyable moment is to see your fund grow from the dividend compounded mechanism.
When applying loan, banks take the seed as net worth and the dividend as yearly non-taxable incomes.
*
mmm... interesting point.... question, do we need to declare these incomes e.g. income from ASx, FD etc...... if someone having big net worth in ASx and FD, these dividend/interest income need to be declared in Income Tax or not?

Nope. They are totally not taxable + free from GST IF YOU STICK TO the fixed price fund.
*
Undestand not taxable , just like dividend income from shares, however my question does one need to fill those paperworks for income tax submission.....

will LHDN come after you...... as you could probably buy a car, a property with your dividend ..smile.gif

Some dumb question, we can top up ASM, AS1M, ASW using Internet banking?
What is the charge like? also if fail to get any units, any charge incurred and also what is the amount you all trying to get.... a 5 digit or 6 digit ?

While I was looking at the charts, u have posted the above ! icon_rolleyes.gif

I don't think my data will show up next year. Current thinking is not to park so much this year. Once my target reached, will stop buying the FP. My allocation is still FD much higher than this FP fund.

Anyway today hopefully can get higher amt of AS1M ! rclxm9.gif
*
yeah i also cannot understand, since AS1M, ASM, ASW etc the return rate better than FD, shouldn;t that the allocation in FD is lesser than this....probably a 1:9 ratio or 2:8 ratio......

as if one could turn all the FDs to ASx, all will chase after... ..... confused.gif

Question, between PNB and Banks, which one you prefer to top up, presume both available at your same distance?

Need to balance? My ASM is 75%, ASW 15% and AS1M 10%. ASM high bcoz easy to get due to no race restriction.
*
after hunting for 3 days since Tuesday, managed to top up 5 digit ........and able to open up ASW......
it is easier to get AS1M, almost 80% succeed compare to ASM......

still going to hunt more .........

Up to you. I prefer balanced (look nicer - eg all 5 digit instead of only 1 book 5 digit, rest all 3 digit ) with exception of my AS1M.
*
it is not up to you to determine this, as based on luck one, at this juncture, every one will get AS1M easily compare to others..... .

Nope. Not necessarily. As I said, my ASM and ASW2020 both exceed my AS1M by multiple times as I never touched my AS1M book until this year. Last few years, busy topping up ASM. Then decided ASM too much (cause of the rumours), move to ASW2020 (even the banks told me the red book is hardest to get - the highest demand book) top that one up until more or less same level with ASM. Only slipped in AS1M whenever ASW2020 is out of stock.

So end of the day, both my ASM and ASW2020 far far exceed my AS1M.  laugh.gif

ic .......

question any way to know what is the distribution in term of the funds own by ages, demography, etc
and so long never heard of new funds launching, will this year be the lucky year smile.gif

Long time never post here. Anyways, here's what's the latest insider info I got.

Rest assured that the days of having to go to branches to hunt for those oh so valuable FP units would soon be over. ASNB is supposed to launch its own online portal with online-real time transactions processed by the host system. As you know, the current M2U, Clicks, RHB are all on batch mode now.

My insider said they were testing out the system last week and you can view your account balance online and perform additional top-up real time too.

I guess they're now in the SC approval and testing phase so pay close attention to ASNB's announcements on their website or their social media channels towards the end of the year.

They'll probably be using SMS-TAC like all other internet banking websites so if you haven't updated your info with them, can start preparing now.
*
this is really good news, we can avoid seeing actor who won Oscar award say system down lah, no more units lah etc...

but, hope this online transaction top up from the PNB online portal are free of charges.... and that time every one like waiting buying xiaomi , keeps on submitting top up every minute :
