Banks always stop accepting 1 day before "official" suspension period..

You should try whenever your's free. Bring all your passbooks and tell the bank staff to try whichever is available for top up. For AS1M, try on 4/10. Meanwhile try again to open ASM with 100u and try top up ASW.
Some of my local banks (CIMB & Maybank) set this 1 time 'check' per Q number. If you asked for 5000, if none, they'll not retry lower amount. I avoided these banks and stick to other more helpful bank.

   
Congrats for getting all 3 passbooks now. Now it'll be up to timing and luck. With FD rate dropping, I guess many savers are 'hunting' at the same time and not many willing to sell their units now.
If you happen to be around ASNB, Shah Alam, do avoid Mon & Friday as they're super crowded.
If you find a helpful bank staff, just keep visiting and give a big smile and thank you every time you drop by.

I'm sure you'll be able to get some as long as you keep trying.

This morning used IBFT to xfer dough to Affin. Went there, the Malay girl tried first time got 5k of ASM. But unable to get AS1M and ASW. She tried few times still cannot get. Then asked her to try ASM again, reduced until getting add'l 1k there. Well, still OK, I guess. Then took out the remainder cash from Affin. No queuing in Affin.

Did some errands, then realized there is a MBB branch nearby. So went in. Did not take long as not much people there. The counter staff tried few times. Told me cannot get. But she re-tried and got 5k of ASW for me. MBB lady said AS1M cannot get as dividend will be given out. So better try on 4/10 onwards.

So total 11k netted today. Below my target goal. So still have cash left in my pocket. 

Today's experience is good as did not have to queue for long. Guess lucky day for me. 

But today is just a practice. Waiting for 4/10 for bigger number, hopefully ..............................

IBFT = instant transfer money from another bank to affin bank.
Recommend you try RM10k like that. If got, then pump more.   

If you're in KT, just stick to RHB as you have a saving account with them and the staff are helpful. IF ASNB is close by, you can try your luck alternately.
Don't forget, 'shyness can ruin many good opportunities'.

IBFT is method of transfer money la.    You have the cheap and slow IBG(Rm0.11), the instant and pricey IBFT (RM0.53)
Once money in savings account, you can just contra.

No need wait for GIA matured. Go try at bank where you have SA. Eg RM10k dapat. Uplift Rm10k from eGIA > Maybank SA > IBFT > Bank ABC which you have SA > tell the worker nak contra

My one counter ask how are you going to do payment after getting it. After all they can reverse the transection no no problem for them if we don't have cash.
