anyone has anywhere to recommend to service an automatic watch?

has been 5 years since I owned it and thought i ought to sent it for a preventive maintenance.

just a humble Victorinox.

Just bought a Swatch Sistem51 yesterday. So far it's keeping good time +/- 1s checked at various times. Would you wear a cheap plastic Swiss automatic? Considering Seiko 5 is significantly cheaper.

each to its own i guess and there's nothing wrong with wearing an inexpensive watch as long as the wearer/owner feels good about it. by the way, what movement is the Sistem51 - is it 2824-2?

The movement is not a standard ETA but is manufactured by ETA specially for Swatch. It is disposable after 10-20 years.

blink.gif what do you means by disposal?

as it, after the prescribed period, the movement itself will "die"?
