your brass will patina really well if you dive with it. my 2 year old brass looks the same from it's first month of patina.

my current brass gruppo gamma also something like that...just abit more reddish-brown patina.
all still much better than the aluminium bronze as used by steinhart and tudor.

It's a little big on me too. Back then when I decided to get it I just thought of getting some bronze or brass piece. And this with a blue dail looks kind of special.

I don't know. Usually I get stuck with these watches.. The only watch that I sold and not missing it is the mako. Even the citizen speedmaster homage I am still holding on to without any wrist time cause I feel I'm attached to it.

You mau the Maranez is it. Lolz. Maybe I can consider getting a new home for it.

I was poisoned with the idea of brass/bronze pieces when I was on the job. Fuckers showing beautiful reacting pieces on their wrists. Forced patina and all. An Archimede was one of the few options, but then I remembered that I sold all my watches that I babied. I decided to get something that I feel comfortable banging, scratching and fecking around.

The metals are being used offshore for diving and shits. Good for diving? Good for me!

Edit: Oh the shiny things on the helmet? That's chrome-plated brass.

ya I've also sold off a few pieces which i babied.
as for bronze... i recommend steinhart ocean one bronze...around rm1.7-1.8k direct from them.
even tho aluminum bronze, in ur environment it should still do something.
