yeah initially thought about white dial, but something in me asked me to opt for the black dial instead haha.

Yep currently considering either Oris or Omega for my next watch, any recommendation?

Prefer something more sporty this time

But you have asked about the ML is more towards dressy piece. For sporty Omega, a Seamaster, For in between, a reduced Speedmaster seems to be quite versatile, though its a sport watch.

Go for Omega. If you are considering the Speedmaster, the one to get is the Speedy Pro 42mm version, forget the rest of them (unless your budget is enough to get the Dark Side of The Moon).

80k is achievable in a couple of years.

I always have a Grail fund where I will place at minimum RM1,000-2,000 per month in it. That's how I managed to afford my Daytona and Sub C. Setting aside spare cash each month by not going to expensive places or indulge in expensive vices like smoking.
*
Dude, not everyone is making the big bucks like you. Some people barely make 50k a year and we're talking professional lines.

I do agree that saving up is a must but more as a safety net for rainy days. Anything left over can go to the watch/hobby fund.

Chill bro. I am not making big bucks either but I do tend to cut out a lot of entertainment and vices. I even downgraded to a cheaper car so my monthly installments are lower.

With components coming from Silicon Valley, the “Swiss Made” watch is rumoured to have been manufactured in China. On this TAG Heuer told FashNerd, “Although case and buckle are Swiss, the watch doesn’t sport the “Swiss Made” engraving because the electronic insides come from Intel.”

then again, intel also got malaysian plant...

Oh wow. Such a terrible way to move its watches to the next tier. It just spoiled its own brand.

considering where fossil is, they're not exactly playing in the first division or even second.
plus this is their 2nd generation smart watch... yes they had one last yr already.

pls la, Hamilton have been around for ages and have real history.
fossil is just a fashion company and oem for other fashion brands like burberry, diesel and dkny.
they will never get anywhere near Hamilton in terms of watch heritage.

At least also move up mah bruce.gif
Since they started off with watches. And they produce for luxury brands as well.

But on the end. Yalah still a fashion brand. Except they change the brand name?

well, DW also started off with watches tongue.gif

but if want to do a comparison... fossil is like a swatch wannabe.
and considering that both groups started out at basically the same time, yet one has pulled way way ahead and who of cos also owns Hamilton amongst others...
then the answer is probably clear already as to where fossil really stands...2nd division perhaps... but definitely nowhere near the big boys.
i would even put all the jap big boys like seiko and citizen above fossil.
but fossil also owns zodiac... so hmm... they stuck between rock and hard place tongue.gif

hahaha DW tak boleh pakai punya tongue.gif

Yeah... True. I know Fossil will never get to the luxury level. But at least a tier up for them will be good lol

Speaking of Hamilton, I used to like this a lot until I put it on my wrist, the size is hideously small

Now I'm aiming this as my next watch rclxms.gif
