Any bro here could recommend a retail place that sells high quality nato strap (that means max around RM300 a piece)? I know there are several websites that sell this but not too sure of the quality since I can't feel the material. Or unless some sifu here can share where they buy high quality nato on websites which are legit.
i used to buy my zulus from red army watches...very good quality...around rm50 each...but that was a few yrs ago... not sure if they still carry any now.

I have owned 1 for almost a year, have been wearing it on & off. I notice mine has been +1-+3 a day consistently, but on recent becomes -3 seconds a day.. is this normal?
-3 probably nothing to worry about...could just be low power reserve. iirc only the 8xxx and above can maintain accuracy even with low power reserve.

Hi guys, wanted to ask something about watch maintenance. Servicing a mechanical periodically is necessary to ensure the movement runs proper and true.
But what about water resistance seals though?
I assume that unless we're talking about high end brands, typical watch service centers don't actually have a Bergeon 5555 or the equivalent to test water seal. Do you send your watches to some place that specifically is able to do such tests? Would like to hear your thoughts on this. The question crossed my mind as I was thinking about the WR integrity of my tool diver.
there are a few 3rd party watch repair guys that can do water testing. TSC is one of them...they're now in USJ.

the owner used to work under JLC if not mistaken... so ya they do pretty much most swiss brands. basic maintenance... not service... i think starts around rm180? haven't been there since they moved out of amcorp mall couple yrs ago.
All my Rolexes have only been serviced by RSC. I have a 5 digit Datejust with the open 6 and 9 date wheel that I have been servicing at RSC since new. Last service, they advise me to get the sapphire crystal replaced as it was a bit chipped. I declined and they were fine with it. I also told them not to polish, and they obliged.
I believe if your watch have been serviced only at RSC from the beginning, they will be very accommodating and respect your instructions like no polishing or no replacement of original crystal.
My Datejust is a bit weird as it features an open 6 and 9 date wheel on a caliber 3135 movement in a watch with sapphire crystal that is dated to around 2002. Open 6 and 9 date wheels are mostly found on older 3035 movements with plexiglass.
actually in terms of crystal etc...for most places if they feel it will affect water resistance etc...they will replace it...else they wont offer a warranty on the repair work done.
brother gave his omega seamaster midsize (quartz) to me, but the battery is dead for quite some time. yeay my first luxury watch
can i replace the battery at any shop? i read Steven Watch Fixology is pretty good, so might go there, or if you guys have any recommendation (pj/shah alam area)?
also do i need to service the watch first, or can simply replace the battery? i saw omega price for service, can't afford it though
just bring back to swatch hq in KL...i believe battery change is still rm80? at least they should also do the necessary checks...

Saw some smaller Speedmaster in japan, maybe 38/39mm , was told its meant for Japanese market only. Can it be serviced here in authorized service centre. Is the cost to service/repair is higher than normal speedmaster as its not a worldwide market model?
new or used? serviced here sure can...under warranty diff story as that needs the international warranty card. not worldwide or whatever doesnt matter, same movement same price...unless its precious metal case then becomes higher.
There's always the triple date, at 39mm as well. But yeah, I too have outgrown the smaller speedy. I will make some exceptions for 39mm, but the speedy isn't one of them.
the infamous triple date the problem with omega's measurements is they always include the crown guard... thats why the omega FOIS even tho being at 39.7mm...but due to lack of crown guard doesnt any different from the 42mm pro...
Omega is currently enjoying a spillover effect from the crazy prices of trinity and Rolex watches.
I am seeing a lot of people moving into Omega watches with the Ed White Speedmaster being as rare as a Steel Daytona and sold more than double above MSRP in the grey market.
This definitely does not bold well for new collectors who are just dipping their toes in building up a collection.
wouldn't really call it spillover effect... as they have been selling since the bond smp300 days... there are also of cos omega fanbois, tho mostly in US / EU as they don't really care too much about what's on the other fellas wrist
