5% on the goods?

If free shipping then no need to pay SST?

I bought a 3K watch online from Europe during the transition period where GST is abolished and SST is still yet to be implemented, which is during the month of July 2018.

I received my package from DHL without any taxes from customs. Smooth to my doorstep.

Now I wonder, whether or not you'll get taxed if you buy watches from overseas.

For bros that have recently bought watches from overseas, please kindly share..
*
Yeah. This is something I want to know also.

The watch I wanted to buy is rm20k++.

Only sell in overseas. But if I go there to buy, the air ticket and accommodation etc may get more expensive than the tax. Worst case is if bring back time, kena tax again at airport.

During the check out page it said free shipping, maybe becos the watch itself is expensive so there is no shipping charge?

Since there is no shipping charge on the invoice then no extra SST on the shipping charge rite

If the watch is rm20k, meaning just need to pay custom tax 5% of rm20k?

I think this was the first piece I got way back once upon a time... Someone found it at my old place and I was surprised it still worked perfectly after a free battery change from Swatch.

Look how far we have come since tongue.gif

nomos' long lug to lug length makes them not very wearable for smaller wrist size

wanted to buy one of their 38mm in the past and after finding out the l2l so long finally didn't make the purchase sweat.gif

i never tried purchasing or doing bids on ebay.
most items listed there are from US, so it's gonna take long to arrive + the shipping fee / taxes sad.gif

you can purchase those buy it now / make offer products which are pretty straightforward.

there are plentiful of seller who are from hong kong / japan that provides worldwide free shipping that takes usually less than a week to arrive too

so far I've ordered a few watches there without any problem. most japanese seller under declare used items like crazy so I've avoided lots of import taxes too
