QUOTE(Superman07 @ Oct 8 2018, 08:15 PM) Definitely get the co-axial version as this technology is a bump up from past technology. Whether 1st hand or 2nd hand that's really dependant on issues such as budget, do you intend to sell it later and how good you are in assessing the watch. If you are not a crazy watch enthusiast that could assess the watch while don't intend to sell it later (to consider loss of values) then go for new. It's not easy to buy a good second hand watch with a steal. Hey thanks for feedback. Much appreciated !

QUOTE(Everdying @ Oct 10 2018, 03:31 PM) all recent seamasters have co-axial. the only difference is whether the base is eta or in-house. so best if u have the model numbers etc. This Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(Superman07 @ Oct 11 2018, 08:54 AM) Mine is this model (men's version of course) that runs on co-axial 2500 with aluminium bezel. Pretty tough watch with very little need to care for it since it's a robust watch. Bought it in year 2009 and have not even serviced it before but it keeps time perfectly well. Totally worth the money. Thanks for sharing. I've done research through google and youtube as well. Majority would say is worth and robust watch. Value for money. As for now i only found aluminium bezel without co-axial. I believe it's an old model and many years edy..

QUOTE(Everdying @ Oct 11 2018, 02:22 PM) then ur looking at some late 90s / very early 00s model... not sure if collectors are actually going crazy over it... if not mistaken the quartz version of it is now worth more simply cos it was in bond. Couldnt make up my mind, whether ceramic with co-axial or aluminium without co-axial...

QUOTE(Chinoz @ Oct 13 2018, 12:35 PM) Go with the one with a wave dial Mine has dived with me on numerous occasions, and at the end of the dive, while we're all on the water surface waiting for the boat to pick us up, the way the wave dial catches and reflects the sun never fails to leave me in awe. The scalloped bezel is a PITA to use though... I will go with ceramic co axial version, but donno whether use or new. New model 2016 Used 2012 full set

QUOTE(hazzery @ Aug 30 2019, 10:49 AM) Tudor Black Bay 36 RM10K++ QUOTE(shauno @ Aug 30 2019, 11:17 AM) the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34mm is about 17k or thereabouts Yes the same i had in mind, either tudor bb36 or OP white 34. Tudor bb36 yes its way cheaper from OP but not sure on quality build and could save half of the money. OP 34 white dial is amazing dial and of course it cost way more higher approx 19k+. Still not able to make decision on these

This specific model Blancpain Bathyscaphe caught my attention with nice 38mm case size and 100 hours of power reserve at RRP RM36k. Found warranty details in website, and sadly its doesn't hack. Maybe can recommend similar specs (38mm, high power reserve) with price range between 30-36k max. *note: Rolex out of league This post has been edited by lisahasan: Oct 1 2021, 07:12 AM Attached thumbnail(s)
