QUOTE(fuzzy @ Feb 28 2022, 04:35 PM) I think the demand is still not as strong here. absolutely true.. the stigma on quartz is still too strong back here. Quartz= casio. There's something about paying top dollars for a quartz some people still don't like. Cartier also is not as a strong brand here as it is overseas. I'm trying to con my SO into one, so I can wear it hehe. when you have 2, you wanna have 2 more ![]() |

QUOTE(Chinoz @ Mar 7 2022, 03:39 PM) 1 Year process. firstly i have to meet up with their product manager and they'll share a session of cartier heritage with you, ranging from their numerals, usage of materials, etc etc.after finalising your design, it has to be submitted back to HQ and get approved by their Head of design and heritage. |

QUOTE(ic3burn_lhs @ Mar 26 2022, 05:52 PM) In Carousel got alot flippers selling it at a premium already, as high as 8k for mission to earth..LOL..not sure what is he smoking there hahahaha i do love the idea and concept of the watch and im highly interested in getting one, but the idea of queueing for it is just a big no no for me.grey market? dont even think about it. seeing people posting it at the range of 3k-4k RM and for that money, you can get a Tissot PRX 80 for less than 2.5k, get a beautiful seiko alphinist and so many other choices. well done on omega for this seriously, happy to see other brands bringing their A game with quirky and fun concept. cant wait for watches and wonders now! |

QUOTE(fuzzy @ Mar 27 2022, 01:07 PM) Can't wait for Rolex to release more of the same yea might guess a new north flag is at the horizon with its current campaign!! hope to see all brands in bringing their A-game this coming 30th (except a colour changing rolex I really hope Tudor steps up this year. A BB58 or Pelagos 40mm GMT would get me absolutely berserk QUOTE(lost_control @ Mar 27 2022, 03:48 PM) is the original moonwatch a mechanical watch aka no battery needed, while this omega X swatch needs a battery right? yes, its a manual wounded movement (aka automatic but without a rotar to wound it) and yes this omega x swatch is essentially a normal quartz battery chronograph movement. |
