the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34mm is about 17k or thereabouts

Yes the same i had in mind, either tudor bb36 or OP white 34.

Tudor bb36 yes its way cheaper from OP but not sure on quality build and could save half of the money.

OP 34 white dial is amazing dial and of course it cost way more higher approx 19k+.

Still not able to make decision on these

Rolex will have longer staying power. Tudor could be just a fad, bcos most can't get their hands on a Rolex so settle for 2nd best

the tudor bb36/41 build is very good for its money, i'd rate it above rolexes with rattling bracelet and thin stamped clasp (basically the older models). but be reminded it's an ETA 2824 movement (but top grade with modified parts) so the PR and accuracy isn't like rolex's

i tried on the bb41 and it wasnt to my liking cause the dial felt too empty for its size, maybe 36mm might be better but it's too small for my wrist. you can get a used GS for <20k too though if you wanna go that route, or a tudor with inhouse movements which IMO is the best bang for buck in specs, looks are always subjective.

im looking for a smartwatch with minimalistic design ,good functionality, always on display and decent battery life. Im using an iphone but im not looking for apple watch. Any suggestions? Budget 1k++
