how can I be sure those vintage watches are authentic and genuine?
*
For vintage watch collecting/purchasing you really need to do your own homework i.e. read up as much as you can on the internet, especially on how to spot fakes, non-ori replacement parts, etc. Most importantly, buy the seller not the watch. You get higher degree of assurance of authentic vintage pieces from reputable sellers. Good luck with your search.

Not good at all? Any other reviewers?

Nothing special about Fossil. I'd rather spend the money on Seiko, Citizen or Orient

My uncle offered me his black subs non ceramic with date year 2002 for RM18K.I know it's a bargain but i'm not sure whether i really need it
*
No one really needs a Rolex or any luxury watch, for that matter. It's a question if do u want it?

If mostly office wear, Orient Bambino will look good with formal wear. Price around rm700 range. Seiko Presage will be in the 1500-2000 range.

A bit more sporty wear can opt for Seiko Prospex range, price from rm800-2000, or the famous SKX.

The new Orient Bambino small seconds is so hnngghh. I feel very strongly this will be my new purchase

Nice?

If you like it, then that's all that matters. Personally, I don't as I very uncle and prefer very conservative styles... That's the beauty of watches, many diff styles to cater to all diff needs

Curious about you guys with stainless steel bracelets on your divers. Do you go swimming with it or do you swap to a rubber strap?

Would you mind giving me a few models to check it out? So at least I can check the price online, don't want to get 'chop' by retail price.

Before this, I was thinking of getting Bambino for her but I am afraid people will laugh at her for wearing men watches.
Sorry, DW is not on my list as it is not worth buying.

Thank you. I'll check it out them out.

To a lady's eye, Seiko & Casio aren't "branded". Most ladies don't appreciate the value of Japanese made watches.

Perhaps she may be more attracted to fashion brands like Coach (yes, they have watches too), Gucci, Michael Kors, etc. For those, just search online (lazada, shopee, etc.) or at any shopping mall. Perhaps a smartwatch (apple watch, or amazfit) would be more appealing than Seiko and other japanese brands.

You should know your lady better...

Yes the same i had in mind, either tudor bb36 or OP white 34.

Tudor bb36 yes its way cheaper from OP but not sure on quality build and could save half of the money.

OP 34 white dial is amazing dial and of course it cost way more higher approx 19k+.

Still not able to make decision on these
*
Rolex will have longer staying power. Tudor could be just a fad, bcos most can't get their hands on a Rolex so settle for 2nd best

Still possible to get 25% for Tag?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

I would think that retailers now would be damn desperate for a sale. Press them hard for 25%, cash in hand. If they say no, just walk to another one.

If dress watch style with leather band -> Orient Bambino

Diver style -> Orient Ray or Orient Mako
