Was strolling around UK and walked into a few watch shops and was pretty impressed with the design of a few Hublot watches.

Any idea as to why isn't this brand famous in Malaysia ? Ive never bumped into anyone using this brand except our beloved PM whistling.gif  whistling.gif
*
2 people in kopitiam have the big bang black magic, one of them i read dropped the watch and cracked the ceramic bezel, RM5k to change laugh.gif

its expensive for a relatively young brand... someone i know have the big bang ceramic on rose gold... RM80k... AP ROO level already tongue.gif

Hey guys. Should I get an AP ROO Volcano or Bumblebee? I feel like adding some color to my collection.

Will these watches age well? Spending around 100k, so just want to make sure that these watches will age well..
*
i'd personally prefer something like the safari or elephant... striking colours don't usually age well IMHO

Be careful of nice watches on parents. A lot of times, if you look at them carefully, they turn out to be fakes

I saw an "AP ROO" during my son's report card day last month, upon close inspections, the Sub dials are equally spaced. Real ones have unevenly spaced Sub dials due to the chronograph module used.

I also saw an Omega "planet ocean" on one of the parents in my son's class. Looks good from afar but once I sat next to him, I saw that the dial looks like junk and the date wheel is white when the dial and bezel are black.
*
hard to say also la, cos that couple rotate their watches... so far i think i've seen a blue 2 tone Sub, AP diver, AP ROO elephant and a don't know what Big Bang... didn't really analyze that detail, scare later they think i want to rob them laugh.gif

Two tone watches are an easy tell. Look for scratches on the gold portion, if the underneath metal is not gold then it is a fake as Rolex Two Tone only use solid 18k gold on their gold parts.

There should be scratches on the bracelet. Look for deeper scratches and see whether if the underneath metal is the same color as the top metal.
*
since you mentioned it... the gold centerlinks are pretty scratched cos when she was beside me its very obvious sweat.gif
didn't check underneath, too obvious i'm checking her out already laugh.gif

learned something new, thanks smile.gif

Yes I did change my DW6900 battery early this year by a ahpek watchshop. Done within 10 mins.

After replacing with new battery, just remember to reset the G-Shock by connecting the AC point to the back of the battery.

thanks bro! the ahpek did the reset for you? or you DIY?
