fren if you using celcom d68, bewarn sending of sms incured charges............i juz received my first mth bill..........total  to pay this mth rm93.00       not rm68 cause i hav to pay tax, wap charges and sms charges

kinda stupid question here.. but how did u guys use the v3xx to connect to comp n surf the net??

btw, ive found another irritation 4 me 2wards this phone.. the battery indicator, when its down to 2 bars, then when i make a phone call or play some mucic or games, it suddenly n immediately goes 2 no bars at all n the red indicators are on, indicating that batt is low.. i want something in between, like 1st show 1 bar left, then only show batt low laa.. its kinda like the complaints people have wit the digital fuel indicators we have on cars 2day.. theyre not really very accurate, one moment it says full, another it goes straight to empty..

im not complaining bout the batt standby time, coz 4 me its good enough.. i got bout 3 days standby time wit my normal usage of the phone..

i was in jb last sat and sun..........guess wat most of Jb hav 3g+ on the fon logo meaning its in HSDPA mode and its even better than in KL man     super fast surfing using the fon itself

if you are lucky you can get an AP set for under rm700 but since celcom launched this rm68/mth package this v3xx ap set are hard to comeby nowadays

Got a question for u folks that uses this phone on a modem mode via USB cable. Does yr USB charge able to charge the phone while acting as a modem? What I encountered is that when the phone is on modem mode, the phone gets charged through USB - but at a very slow rate, or the phone is sucking more juice from the battery rather than charging it.

Can this device be used as a USB Modem, since it is HSDPA. If so how can one go about connecting the device to a laptop using the data cable and access the internet

did the phone become hotter when it's used as modem?

any setting 3G / video call on v3xx?

Actually there is a way to fix it into 3G only.
Menu>setting>network>network setup> (change band to WCDMA 2100).

Your connection will be always in 3G. I always use this setting when 3g signal is unstable while surfing net. Please note that if you are not in 3G coverage, your V3xx will be unable to received call or sms, you hv to set it back to automatic.

Another little advice to you all,

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR V3xx BATTERY COMPLETELY DRY OFF

It happen to me yesterday, after my V3xx battery completely dry out, it unable to charge..
i think the logic is V3xx required some battery power to start up it 1st then only the charging will take effect. So, when yr battery completely dry off, v3xx can't power on thus can't charge.
i try the whole night... and uncountable time... finally i leave it for few hours then try to power it on. It's work and start charging.....

yesterday i try when the signal drop to 2.5G, then I try to use SE 3G phone to call into my v3xx, normally can see "incomding video call", but it only can see "incoming call"....mean just a normal voice call, not video call...sad...
while the SE is make a video call...sad.....

is this normal?

when the battery totally dry then cant charge anymore~~

but my v3xx still ok, just left it charge without turn on it~~~
but my mp3 player battery totally failure, lucky still under warranty, i had change the battery few times....

I hav a suggestion to test on batter totally dry~~~
seem i made few of my mp3 battery failure~~~

actually i plug my mp3 player with my car mp3 modulator~~~
it didn't charge on my mp3, may be power not enough~~
the mp3 modulator jz enough power to access and play the files only~~~
cause i always drive 5-6 hours,
so when i unplugged the mp3 player, the battery sure totally empty~~~
and need to send to factory again
