Clone, got tutorial on youtube.
Few years back I also encountered this problem.

After cloning, everything works well.

already done or not?
my suggestion if u have external USB drive,
open it and change with ur new SSD

install macrium software on lappy,
clone to the external drive.
( dont forget to use USB 3.0 slot if have )

wait finish.. remove the old hdd and replace with the ssd
done

pendrive??

1. download macrium reflect on ur lappy. INSTALL IT
2. find a way to connect ur SSD to ur lappy. easiest is find usb case. free if u have external hdd around. just open the external disk and tukar with ur ssd
3. open macrium , take clone mode to ur external drive. ( wait till finish.. maybe hours? if slow usb 2.0 )
4. shutdown the lappy. remove old hdd and replace with the new ssd
5. siap.

for ur case . might want to try this step

1. You have to make an image of the old drive
2. Under the 'Restore' tab in Macrium Reflect, go to 'Browse for an image or backup file to restore'
3. Select the correct image (*.mrimg) file, and click 'Restore Image'.

Now you get a window which at the top displays the partitions in the image file, and at the bottom it displays the new disk.
Just dragging all partition won't work, because that doesn't fit, but If you drag them one by one, you can for each partition change its size. If you adjust this according to the disk size, you can fit all partitions of the old drive on the newer one.
