My default skin is the LYN default skin. How come the background goes white without any layout of the site?

Notice the blank white background? Different than default right?

try clearing your cache (Ctrl+F5)

Have you cleared your cache using the clear cache menu, not by CTRL+F5?

White background. Like the white layout I'm talking about.
Yes I did it a few times already. Still the same pal.

with no error messages, and no other complaints so far from other users, it is very hard for us to pinpoint your problem.

Have you tried this on different browsers or just one?

The link i gave you above is a direct link to the background image, if you can't load it, there might be a configuration problem with your browser, or cache.

Printscreen the background you got so the admin can know more what you mean.

Tried on Safari 2.0 and Internet Explorer 7: no problem. With Firefox 2.0, this happened.

I'm on Firefox too. Perhaps you accidentally blocked LY.net background image or something. Have you checked that?

What you said, it's true. I use AdBlock Plus for Firefox... accidentally blocked the background image, now it's all back to good. Thanks all.
