Want to ask, only apply to Streamyx user.

Have you experienced any slow update or download speed on AppStore recently?
I am a 4Mbps subscriber and I am freaking mad with such issue recently.

When I am updating or downloading apps, it is freaking slow.
Even if I used PC and download via iTunes software was also the same.

Suppose my speed, like previous, can hit up to about 530KB/s of download speed but now it fluctuates only between 10~50KB/s.
It is a huge pain for updating apps with 100MB+. Hell man..

Been reset, restarted modem and everything, still the same.
What is so weird, it only happen to AppStore. Other apps or download work as usual, where it hits ~500KB/s.
This happen on both my iPhone and iPad.

What should I do and what can I do?
Did anyone of you experience the same issue?

It's the same for me - UniFi 50Mbps user. It's been this way the past week.

I've been experiencing this since many years ago.
Despite complaints, nothing has been done.
Whenever the update has started, everything goes down. The progress of the update was slow...
So the only thing I could do is to start the update before I go to sleep and before I leave for work.

Happens only with TM's services, even on my 50mbps Unifi line.

I just update my apps in the office which uses a TIME connection. Never faced the issue even once there.

Let me see if I can bring it up in my meeting with Apple Malaysia next week to see if they are aware of the issue.

Yes. In fact the issue persisted for quite sometimes. It happened in the past few months periodically. Meaning last week it was fine with me.

No matter how many times I reset my modem, change DNS also cannot solve. I read the other thread mention about VPN, I think I'll try later.

I think this is an issue from TM. Whenever I use other networks, such as Yes or my mobile data, it worked as usual. Good if Apple Malaysia can take some actions to resolve this issue with TM.

=====edited=====

VPN confirmed work and solve the issue. Thanks.

change DNS to 209.244.0.3 works for me or use any VPN software. TM and Apple are trying to resolve the issue......

Luckily I already switched to Time Internet then... That's a far more stable Internet provider, even if there are occasional hiccups with regards to connection speed... rclxms.gif

But maybe it's the infrastructure of the condo I live in, as there isn't any major lag issues while updating apps, when I was still using TM UniFi... Is this problem some of you have a recent one, by the way? thumbup.gif

Surprisingly, my Streamyx is back to normal at this moment. I tried update all my apps, it ran in optimum speed. Hope it doesn't revert back to lousy speed in this later.
