Contrary to believe, the engine doesn't pop out fly and endangering surrounding area.
Car engine is mounted slightly angled, so in the event of collision the engine would "drop" or slide downward and avoiding any intrusion towards the cabin.
If the car was sent flying, of course the engine would be seen on the floor "popout" of the car.
