Been waiting for someone to post this game up. But after so long, might as well start one for the community.

QUOTE(asrafzonan @ Jul 29 2016, 03:27 PM) preordered thru maxlink - RM209 list of planet names in my mind - my own name + roman numerals, my mom n dad's name, my sister + my nephew animals name - my cats name (dead or alive) I see. thanks for info. I will see you in game. Someday... few months or few years later... If i see a planet with your cat's name, i will leave it and not terraform it into planet Zorg... QUOTE(AstonCheah @ Aug 1 2016, 09:33 AM) Same.No clue what to do in game yet. Or the progression lvling/exploration involved. Only thing i heard so far was it's a new exploration game and the OST are well composed. (like Journey). Lets wait and see its reviews. |

QUOTE(AstonCheah @ Aug 1 2016, 03:16 PM) I already saw some utube videos of players commenting about the game. And they show some game play video with no audio. (copyrights)Not in rush to get it. I can wait 1-2 weeks after release then make a decision. Nothing special about logging in day 1 so far |

Just how big is No Man's Sky.
Semi convinced. I heard the map was so big, even the developers doesn't know how big it is. And they had to send simulation drones to the universe |

QUOTE(mochicake @ Aug 9 2016, 05:16 PM) Psn Asia went live around noon. 4gb download only You bought and play d? Nice. Honestly I don't get the hype, I played for few hours this afternoon. Kind of bored already warped to the 3rd system, explored half a dozen planets. Let me know your planet name. I will explore and sell all the creature in your planet to the black market. I will enslave them. I will crack the core and make it into space dust. Joke joke... I think we probably can see what u hAve done to the planet, after a Godzilla years of traveling. I will be getting my copy this weekend |

QUOTE(karwaidotnet @ Aug 10 2016, 09:24 AM) Interesting. Is it random generated world/planet? With only 4gb game client. I presume the players will have to to load the data from server when they visit another players planet. It says other players will be able to visit the planet that you once step foot in. Meaning if you went to one planet and left, that planet will still be in the game server record. Would that mean after 1 year there will be tons of planet saved in the server (even though visited 2 seconds) That would be a massive load on the server. Correct me if im wrong. |

QUOTE(AstonCheah @ Aug 10 2016, 11:55 AM) bought digital copy last night, played 4 hours. just visited 2 planets. like it!! suits my taste. mainly collecting items, upgrades your tools/flight equipment, and continue to explore this gigantic galaxy!! Good to see a good feedback on the game. And well said on differentiating the 2 different type of COD and casual enjoyment players. It does make a difference. if you expect this to be shooting game, this might be a disappointment. if you like the freedom of exploration, flying around some planets, space, this is super huge place!! and the game is so smooth, no lag 99% time. If u want a no hassle, no time attack, no kill frag count, no lvl/gears grind but a relaxing exploration game at your own time, this is a game for you. |

QUOTE(AstonCheah @ Aug 10 2016, 12:15 PM) that's right, i never played any 1st person shooting game because i not ready for the fast pace action yet. Salute captain. Your exploration outcome will benefit mancome in time to come. We might be extinct and earth might be overtaken by cockroaches in 200 years later. But I am sure our great grand sons will be able to benefit and survive from your exploration data. this one is just for you to take your very time to explore. i am not planning to finish this game anytime soon. just sit back, relax and enjoy the journey. plus i like astronomy things, so can kinda feel the experience in flying the deep space. hopefully there are blackholes for me to see Or probably you will be sucked into a black hole and all data lost never reach human and we extinct by nature. Just a saying |

mochicake Thanks for the feedback bro. I always prefer to read the negative feedback than the good ones.
Yeap its true to some point that there are no actual end game goals here. Unless u have an appointment with someone in the middle of the universe. Lots of farming and selling to upgrade. Its more for someone who wants to take it at their own pace without rush to enjoy the game. |

QUOTE(asrafzonan @ Aug 16 2016, 08:53 AM) already on my 3rd system and my 12th planet I agree with this keyword. Its gonna determine whether u like or hate the game. 22 slot on ship and 24 slot on exosuit still haven't got atlas pass you have to have patience for this game mine rare mineral and hope that you can sell it at premium got up to 700k unit mining gold, nickel, platinum and titanium now on a planet with chrsyonite(rare) but bases are far in between i usually walk on the planet filling up ship and exosuit with mineral b4 calling ship at bases and go to space station to sell I kinda like the theme and pace for No Man's Sky. Here i don't have to grind dailies, fight for top kill frag, pvp etc. Just taking the game at my own pace. Reminds me of Journey. |

QUOTE(Zeliard @ Aug 29 2016, 10:45 AM) Am still playing the game, I would honestly say it is a game revolving around repetitive chores. Either love it or hate, as for me im enjoying it. i Just imagine myself like the movie martian. If im going to be stucks in this planet for 3 years, what would i do. So then i can explore without rush. Enjoy the new environment and just hang around. But it gets lonely after a while. I wish i could meet other no-man-sky adventurers, one day. |

No Man's Sky next update is here. Did a test run after friends recommended and the whole game looks very engaging and promising. Recommended for returning players. This post has been edited by Poodlepaddly: Jul 28 2018, 09:06 AM |
