"Today we can unveil the digital release date for Batman – The Telltale Series, along with this world premiere trailer that’ll give you your very first look at the game in motion, and a taste of what you can expect from the season.

Episode 1: ‘Realm of Shadows’ will be available digitally worldwide starting Tuesday August 2nd for PS4 and PS3. In case you missed the announcement last week, the series will also be available to purchase at retailers starting September 13th in North America as a special Season Pass Disc, which will include the first of five episodes in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates. The series will then be available to purchase at retailers across Europe on September 16th.

How is Telltale’s vision of Batman unique? For a start, the series is equally as much about the man behind the mask as it is about Batman himself. In this game, you’ll enter the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight. It’s a gritty and violent new story in which you’ll make discoveries that will shatter Bruce Wayne’s world, and the already fragile stability of a corrupt Gotham City.

You may well recognize many of the voices in the game, as the series features an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle. Looks simple to play. Can buy for nieces and nephews to play. While we take popcorn and watch them make all the hard choices in Gotham.

From the past production like The Walking Dead and Life is Strange, telltale series story game has been quite successful and well accepted by players world wide. Personally i played TWD by Telltale and i enjoy their work. Its like watching a movie but with interaction of "what-would-you-do". I believe anything between 90-120 is allright for this game. Depends if they are launching the episode 1 or continuation like they always do.

Coming to series like Batman, i look forward to a casual gameplay and fun.

Sometimes playing such game can be very stress, especially at the part of making game changing decision(s).
Since I usually play the game one time only, hardly any replay due to backlogs and time constraint, every single decision can be very stressful

Last time i played The Walking Dead, i went for all those wtf option, finished the game once and let that be my ending.

*Found a stranger survivor in the woods who we never meet before.
NPC X: What are we going to do?
A: Talk to her
B: Stand still
C: Shoot her
D: Walk away

Me: *rifle fires bang!!

NPC X: What did you do that for??

Me: For Justice!

Would be insane if they had a joker like from Batman Begins doing the voice actor and motion capture the actual game itself. The mind game begins.

I'm not too sure price per episode. The total price for the whole episodes on US PSN is USD25. But i pre-ordered, so the price is USD22 plus i got the wolf among us for free

Around Rm100. Not so bad. The previos production TWD by telltale production was also priced at that range.

If you enjoy movies and likes an interactive choice making game, this is a good to go selection.

I will be getting mine after i finish my current game. Was never a big fan of DC or marvel. But after playing DCUO online, i find their story very interesting.

If i come across scene of 1. Save him 2. Save her. I am going to watch and think who to save till time runs out and watch both of them fall helplessly to the cement panel below. Why? Coz im Batman.

This take on Batman is quite interesting because of certain characters are different than the way they're portrayed in the comics

The story so far so good. It was the standard batman game with Bruce being a man haunted by past, Alfred being his usual "you are walking a self destructive path!!!" and mobster story. But I am really looking forward on the Wayne conspiracy angle and hope the story will find its own voice

Troy Baker as Batman is kinda bad. It feels...lifeless. They should have gone with Roger Craig Smith for younger Batman

And I can't take Sully/Falcone serious at all lol

I been hearing troy baker in lots of voice actor lately. Joel (TLOU) and Craig (Dying Light). He is good, but I prefer the batman voice actor from Justice league animation. He has a more subtle and im-in-control voice that fits Batman's character. It portrait him as the go-to & calm guy always ready with short/long term solutions when everyone is panicking (or dying lol). They even use this guy as voice actor for Batman in DC Universe Online. Cant remember his name.. Was it Roger?

I hate cliffhanger

It depends. Sometime the excitement is higher when you waited for the next episode than one night sapu all episode.

Like drama series. If you masak bubur one night finish everything in 24 hours, the hype of waiting for the next season, thinking what to expect next, or even during the current episode you are watching will not be there, Ppl usually wont have a strong impression/hype coz they know there are few more episode ahead and they just want to fast forward to see everything. If you know you only left few chapter before this episode ends, you will be on your seat listening to every conversation. Personal thoughts la.

Great engaging story

was planning just to sample a few minutes of it after downloading, manatau few minutes turned into an hour+ till I finished the 1st Episode in one go

so far Chapter 2 is the best and The Penguin in this series is so cool
