OK Thanks for all yr input..
Yes, Xiaomi quite cheap... but for door/window sensor, I'm prefer something like Strips by Sensative.
Planning to get few of this soon.

QUOTE(StevenLim88 @ Aug 19 2016, 10:38 AM) Yeah.. Xiaomi Very cheap. I had one controller and few door sensor also. the controller somemore can use to listen the China Radio Music. Just get xiaomi universal controller good enough. Can control tv, fan, astro and lighting already. The xiaomi smarthome controller just a less version alarm system, no point to get it. |

QUOTE(improvthings @ Aug 15 2016, 04:25 PM) Hi Henryj8, Since you are a vendor, can you do us a favor by pointing to us the Malaysian official announcement on this frequency change? Because from most website it is still listed as 868.1Mhz. Thank you very much. For your information, 868.1Mhz is no longer as Malaysia Z-Wave Frequency. It has changed to 921.4Mhz This post has been edited by adamw: Aug 25 2016, 04:23 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Xiaomi may not consider as a alarm system as it only send notification though network. So if your home network down or you are at a remote area, you won't get the notification. Since you are only using few sensor, you might go for paradox wireless alarm. |
