OK Thanks for all yr input.. notworthy.gif

Yes, Xiaomi quite cheap... but for door/window sensor, I'm prefer something like Strips by Sensative.

Planning to get few of this soon.

Just get xiaomi universal controller good enough. Can control tv, fan, astro and lighting already.
The xiaomi smarthome controller just a less version alarm system, no point to get it.

Hi Henryj8,

For your information, 868.1Mhz is no longer as Malaysia Z-Wave Frequency. It has changed to 921.4Mhz
*
Since you are a vendor, can you do us a favor by pointing to us the Malaysian official announcement on this frequency change? Because from most website it is still listed as 868.1Mhz. Thank you very much.

Xiaomi may not consider as a alarm system as it only send notification though network. So if your home network down or you are at a remote area, you won't get the notification.
Since you are only using few sensor, you might go for paradox wireless alarm.

hi, i'm using YI home camera (http://www.yitechnology.com/homecamera/index/id/1.html) and install/using their official app for monitoring. i have been using quite some times, but recently my android phone detected it is a harmful app, anyone encounter this before on YI home or any other cctv app?
