QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Dec 12 2009, 06:04 PM) Wow, really? It that case but when i think back, there are certain times during the month when my speed are like slow for days and days, it's not that they throttle my connection? i wanted to say throttle, does cap means the same thing? QUOTE(ozak @ Dec 12 2009, 10:59 PM) nolah, i know it's fixed line. i'm using 1mb package. i didn't use any p2p or bt. but on direct download, most of the time the speed is around 120kbps after the 2mb upgrade. at the very beginning of the upgrade, the speed is constantly almost 200kbps so i thought i reached some kind of limit and they throttled meQUOTE(PoorMan @ Dec 12 2009, 11:37 PM) I noticed the same recently. You may have the same issue I have. The connected download speed doesn't stay at 1Mbps constantly (I subscribe to the Home 1.0 package). Everytime I switched off/on the Maxis given modem, the connected download speed can be different (usually 5xxkbps but can be lower occasionally). However, the upload speed is constantly connected at 512kbps. How do i check the connected speed leh?Not sure if anyone else have this problem. I'll check with Maxis BB call centre on this later. |
