Hi, anybody here know what's Maxis wired broadband Primary and Backup DNS? I wanna set up my personal wireless network and need my PC to be static IP for some port forwarding.

Hi guys. Not sure if you guys have the same situation for the Maxis wired BB. I find my connection for 1Mbps is very erratic. Sometimes connected at d/l speed 382kbps and sometimes (rarely) at 1024kbps. Mostly around 512/544kbps.
I checked this through the ZyXEL (modem provided by Maxis) admin console. Is this normal? |

Happy to report my problem solved ... somehow installed 2 DSL splitters on my telephone line with all the extensions

Updates.
Since Jun2015, I upgraded my Maxis wired from 2Mbps to 8MBps download 1Mbps upload. RM128 per month (not yet plus GST). I stay in Tempua area, Puchong. In case interested, you can apply for it at the Sunway Pyramid Maxis Centre.
