Anyone using the Freeway App for free data ?

Some friends recommended to me and said it's pretty good. Apparently they are going through rapid expansion and will be offering useful apps like Expedia (can make bookings while travelling without using roaming data) in the near term.

I just tried to accumulate 500MB and I thought it's giving me 500MB data, instead it gives me RM10 top up. I was like wtf? I just installed a couple of apps and it gave me free credit.

Yes, I couldn't believe how good it was as well until I tried it...

Have also used Freeway by Syntonic.

It gave me 500mb of data just for installing a few apps.

Love it.

Too bad, Freeway wouldn't detect opened app for my redmi note 3.

How often are the offers refreshed or added?

Hi, is the free data go along with mobile no registered or stick to the mobile device which the apps installed?

Wonder if onexox considered as celcom, thinking to use on a phone (single sim slot) with onexox sim on it for call and using then freebie data for wechat/whatsapps

Any one can confirm?

Can't use... One of the game not compatible and need another 20mb to get redeemable 500mb... Sad

Send them an email and complain. I'm sure they can do something for you.

is the 500mb an one-off or recurring?

Should be that once you have ticked off it is just a once off, then additional apps will be added at regular intervals depending on who signs up.

Instead of 500MB free, got RM10 top up, app is buggy once nearing 500MB

Anyone submitted new apps add in request and accepted? Been awhile no new apps added.. ..short of 20mb.. .haizzzZ

What's the difference between Syntonic and Flexiroam X?

Syntronic are giving free data for you. Flexiroam X gives roaming data.

I heard that for Flexiroam you need to sign up and wait for them to send you an extension to your sim card. Hence, I have never really bothered to try it out

I believe that the free data you get from Freeway can be used even when you are roaming abroad as long as you are roaming with your carrier.... unfortunately I haven't tried doing this so can't confirm though

If that is the case, you can just the use free data and send messages or make calls using WhatsApp

Everyone uses WhatsApp nowadays anyway

I think the app has improved alot since the last time I posted..it's so easy to earn RM10-RM20 free topup by just playing games. Simple and fun...
