I received my package in 3 weeks, delay was mainly from our side

I once lost an item from US, it was my fault for using the cheap shipping mail. US shipping rate are very expensive compare to other country. So it is best to ask for registered shipping instead of standard, will cost higher but safer. Deutsche (German) postal are the fastest in my opinion, usually take less than 3 weeks to receive your stuff.

What do you mean by registered ? Seller say using priority and the courier you mention need to hire right ? Cause standard is pos Malaysia no?

Registered mail is like our pos daftar malaysia. It come with a standard tracking number which you can track online globally, should be something like this: RE123456789US. Sometime the transit is what make the item take longer time.

Not really sure about priority, but its registered if not mistaken. Have you ask the tracking number from them?

i think if you have the tracking number
you will see that the item is stuck at kastam on the pos office designated to sending the package to you

you then can call the office up to see the progress

any issue they will tell you

What I did to get this

split into 3 parcel @ 110~120USD each (means 3x postage fee)
small parcel packing

Wah so fast customs and delivery . If parcel too big will they not ship and ask you over to post office to take ? And if that's the case what do you need to bring over to show evidence ?

I believe that bigger parcel declared with low price will raised suspicion

if the item been cleared by kastam
and stuck at the office (post or courier) you can just go to that office to pickup

see the tracking item out to delivery but failed
(due to living in apartment, or address not clear enough)

just go and show ic for claiming

if stuck with kastam
you have to go to kastam officer to either clear or pay
all also need some kind of paperwork

I use USPS first priority it says departed KLIA but when I use the tracking no to track on pos laju it says nothing found . The one I used on usps is not working on pos laju

First Class International is just just like normal Airmail. Not delivered by Pos Laju but pos office.

It said departed KLIA yesterday . And my Royal Mail hasn't move for 4 days

Now i know that we can track our USPS tracking number using Pos Laju Tracking system. and darn..lucky i check this thread. item already arrived at regional office pos-laju last 2 days. Ordered from e-bay US. Thanks guys and sorry for bumping old thread yet again it may help newbie like me to know exactly their item(s) current status. Thanks again ^^

i have call to pos malaysia and ask regarding the status.
pos malaysia told me that item are pending on kastam, but until today i yet receive any call from kastam.
Is it normal since two day a go.

If at custom u might wanna wait up to 5-7 days before taking further action like calling customs

That one not sure. Last time gst was different. Now sst, and more items got taxed n at different rate. So i really dont know. But expect somewhere around 10% la i guess.

Last time if the items are chargeable by gst, additional 6% plus custom handling fee (not big of an amount, around rm20-40 if im not mistaken).
