QUOTE(jasonhor @ Oct 27 2017, 02:25 PM) the ISP give u static IP.. thats impressive... normally... once you login pppoe account... the IP will recongnized your login then.. it will be shown on the dashboard for the static ip... even dynamic IP too.. just the different that, everytime router was restarted, the dynamic IP will keep changing but static will not. |

For the business package, u can choose for fixed ip. of course need to pay more.My existing pfsense & previous firewall requires to manually set the ip on top of what usual pppoe setting. I believe same goes to this. |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Nov 27 2017, 10:57 AM) Yes and no. Yes, you'll need a router such as the Edgerouter to go along with the UAP ACs and no, it doesn't to be an Edgerouter, any router will do. I use Mikrotik routers with UAP ACs. Thanks for the clarificationDo i use the TM provided router or i need a better router for better speed? What i understand that is the uap ac just transmit the signal coming from the router itself. Correct me if im wrong, the installation like this Isp>modem>router>uap ac |

I read some comment before that the coverage is not good for vertical since i will install it on the 2nd floor |
