Do you guys face any issue playing CSGO after updating to Windows 10?

I have tried this before where windows 10 was updated successfully but I was unable to launch CSGO. Tried so many fixes on the internet but still unable to play.

Finally I re-installed Windows 7 back... damn sad...

I have No Issue..

Already updated the game?
Already clean install the GPU Driver?

my win10 was clean installed, no prob running any game, incl csgo.

try this, Steam->backup games->csgo

when upgarded wo win10, reinstall steam.

after that restore the game.

should work.

Yup, updated. I did the verification test thing and it downloaded something but still cannot.

Yup, downloaded and installed the latest AMD Driver. Still cannot.. headache dy..

Perhaps I should just stay put at windows 7... huhuhuhu

I dont have a Win10 copy. Mine is a Win 7 upgrade to Win 10...

I did re-install steam and CSGO again, but does not seem to work & still not loading.

Actually u can clean install win10 even u upgrade from other windows.

Create the Installation Disk. Here
Then you can proceed to clean install.

At Activation Screen:

1- If u never install win10 at your PC, you can insert you genuine win 7, 8, or 8.1 key.

2- If you’ve ever installed and activated Windows 10 on this computer before, click “I don’t have a product key”. Windows will automatically activate once it’s installed.

My situation is #2. It activated auto once installed.

Are you using laptop? If yes, try to update your onboard graphic driver too. I am facing game issues when I upgrade from Window7 to Window10. After the update, everything went smoothly.

I have CS:GO on my machine since Windows 7. Upgraded to Windows 10 and the CS:Go still runs fine.

Nope, I am on desktop. below is the full spec:

AMD Phenom X3 720BE
8GB RAM
128GB SSD
Sapphire R7 260X GPU

Did update the GPU driver... still cannot launch the game...

mind sharing your CPU specs?

I did try another time to upgrade to win 10 from win 7, problem repeated itself... since the deadline has passed for win10 upgrade, I just leave my PC on Win 7 instead...

120++ games I think...

I have so many machines la, all of them running Windows 10 and have no issue with games.

My Windows 7 to 10 upgrade rig, that's on AMD FX 8350 with 12GB RAM, R7 250 graphics card and so on.

i have both laptop and PC running win10 and both dont have issue running any game....

I see... erm, must be something that I can't figure out then... haih... damn sad...

btw, what is the FPS you are getting? on win 10? I am getting around 90-220 fps.

I'm using win10 also so far don't have any issue for this. Maybe you should reinstall it for the good refresh.

I'm getting around the same fps... if they get constant 60 fps maybe because they tick vsync option that limit the fps with the monitor frame rate

Im having issue with CS 1.6 on my newly installed Windows 10.

Tried all the compatibility options but no success. Double click but game never runs. Not even shown in the Task Manager. Anybody can help?

right click the game on steam > properties > local files tab > click on verify intergrity of game files, let steam download any missing files and try run it again
