if you don't what 64bit is you won't need it in quite sometime. if you're gonna upgrade in 2/3 years get one then. |

take a look at benq r42. it uses via IGP.
here's the benchmark http://freestone-group.com/video-card-stab...esults.html#ATI via scores 33 points. nvidia 6150 scores 223. intel gma950 gets 211-224 so i think this model is to be avoided unless you strictly won't be playing any game. i think you can get away with dispatch of army at 800x600. coz i got an older via chipset mobo. its b0rk now. it does have PS2.0 and 1080p support. so thats good. just graphic acceleration is crap. i think it runs 250Mhz. well the site is in german. |

QUOTE(john_jay2 @ Apr 19 2007, 04:20 PM) no i just got the chance to use an intel system.its either the client or the hardware... so i changed my router to channel 4. ok found some more time and diid a little bench test on t31. what i found was tl-52 wins over t2300. its the same clock speed. just by a little margin. but still wins. even on power consumption. so you might want to consider amd if you're considering core duo. tl52 only lost processor cache bench t2300 got a lot more cache. amd usually pairs with nvidia or ati. which wins over gma950. and the not so used but enthusiast with vista64 or linux 64bit extension xp64 suck. thats why. i use sisoft sandra for the test. i'll post some screenshots later. |

QUOTE(syukiro @ May 18 2007, 08:40 PM) i bought a BENQ T31 last year, i what i can say is, it is really annoying, because since the 1st day i bought it, when i try to play music, or just typing, it would get stuck and make a very weird screeching sound if i play music, what i mean stuck here is, all system not responding, so i need to push the power button 2 restart,it happens very often but i cant estimate when it will get stuck, its just happen sudddenly, at 1st i thought this is just a common issues, but until now, it is still like that and irritating me, i have tried many things, reformat, download new drivers, all other things and it is still like that, pls help me, my father has mistakenly destroyed the warranty receipt in the washing machine mine works fine. only problem is when i use drivers thats not from the benq site. but from ati. latest b0rks for me. so i use omega driver, no problem. just need the south bridge driver from ati.if you wanna buy, get s41, from the specs i think its a steal, for that kind of price. s73 and r55 is obsolete. only buy if its less than 3k |

wireless chip is the least of your concern of failing dued to heavy use. hey, if it does b0rk, you still can get one of those pcmcia card, or the cheaper but intrusive usb dongle.
